Crochet is MUCH easier to learn than knitting. It is easier for a knitter to learn crochet than it is for a crocheter to learn how to knit. A lot of crocheters are intimidated by knitting needles.
Your circle is similar to a pattern i have. But the beginning is different and i'm confused by it. It says: Ch.2, Rnd1: work 6sc in 2nd ch from hook; do not join; work proceeds in continuous spiral. What does it mean by work 6sc in 2nd ch from hook? is it that there will be an end hanging off it? or am i just over thinking this? i understand the rest of the pattern, the beginning is just confusing me...
what type of yarn do you use i bought this big ball at joanns but the stuff is so skinny that i have to a lot of rows your elephant has longer stitches so i was wondering what yarn you used cause i used the same knitting needle?
Thank you sooooo much for this! I bought your book specifically FOR the cupcake pattern and then couldn't make it because I don't crochet :-(
the metal hook is maybe too shiny and making the camera not want to focus on it properly. I'm having a hard time seeing where you are putting the hook in on the done stitches.
I'm going to get my hook and yarn and sit down with it and see if it's easier to understand while doing it.
too hard to see how you do it >_<;
