  • Needless to say! It's really wonderful!

  • Super!! I play this piece on guitar (solo) as well, but this is very well with the violin and cello, too...

  • Classical Music is safe in the hands of these two rock stars. Can we get these guys out in the schools to encourage a new generation of musicians?

  • Ah man! They're amazing! I loved the piece. Handel is pretty awesome!

  • Great video clip. The music is superb and very melodic. Please check my profile. I posted a video on a Town in Malta called Sliema. It is a sea side resort. What is interesting about this video is the fact that I have added Bethoveen's Romance in F as background music.

  • ah im going there this summer

  • awesomeeeeenesss

  • christoph sassmannshaus is amazing !

  • Great piece, what is it called? What suite?

  • Passacaglia (Duet for Violin and Viola, after theme by Handel) written by Johan Halvorsen. It's commonly called the Handel-Halvorsen though. It's based on the Passacaglia from Handel's Harpsichord Suite #7 in G Minor where it serves as the sixth movement.

  • its called passacaglia

  • i thought this song it written for vionlin and volia

  • It was originally written for violin and viola and has since then been transcribed for violin/cello and violin/double bass.

  • amazing:D

  • very nice

  • that cellist is hot...hahaha i can't tell if he's asian or not.

  • who's on violin? looks familiar..

  • Great. Thanks.

  • wow!

  • charles yang is so great

  • i am doing my thesis now and this music is such great companion. not watching the clip though :p

  • that's Charles Yang. He actually holds it normally, he just bends over alot, and rest his jaw on the chin rest, and tilts his head sideways.

  • yeah, I know Charles too!! He is a bit of a show-off, but such a cool guy, and a lot of fun (and good with the ladies). I was friends with him last summer in the Aspen Music Festival...

  • bravo!

  • It's interesting to see how this violinist holds his instrument. It's just about entirely on his chest (more forward that I've seen)

  • very good... but camera focused too much on violinist (from cellists' perspective)

  • omg i love passacaglia...how beautiful

  • fantastic!!!

  • it's handel (arranged by halvorsen apparently?) Passacaglia and is generally found for violin/viola

  • Quick good playing indeed. What is the title of this music, is it common that it is found in a violin & cello arrangement as I believe it is more common as violin & viola...?

  • It was originally written for violin and harpsichord

  • Was it? I thought it was originally written for harpsichord alone. Like the 7th suite or something...

  • wow they are so good =]
