  • Craig.... nice car man

  • @terminatedgt thanks for the comment. checkout my other videos where the restoration begins. Craig

  • Nice Mustang.

  • @cacthuptoit thank you. Craig

  • I'm getting paint job for my mustang this weekend!....yessss!...I hope it ends up looking nearly as good as yours Craig!...btw how much did the paint on yours cost I'm just wanting to know if in getting a decent deal on it?

  • @bmister50 you can spend $3-$5k for the paint job that I had done (not including weatherstripping, major body work). Make sure that you know how many base and clear coats they will be using and the quality of paint that they plan to use. Get it wet-sanded, inside door and hood jambs painted.

  • Btw...Do you like the Eldelbrock heads?..were they have a noticeable horspowerp/torque increase?.I have AFR 185's on my fox but I was thinking of switching to these heads?

  • @bmister50 I love my victo jr's. To me, they are best for forced-air applications (turbo or supercharged). I wouldn't changed unless you do engine work, then match your heads to the cam and rollers that you want to use. If you are going to do forced-air, then go with larger AFR's or victor jr's. thanks, Craig

  • Wow... very nice fox!!!..sounds great!...And it's painted the best color you can paint a stang in my opinion (lol mine is black too). Lol don't wreck her now she is a beauty...Thumbs up!

  • @bmister50 thanks. checkout my "cruise" video. I had her repainted as a gift from my wife. Craig

  • before u installed that power pipe was it stalling at cold start? and giving a hard start as well?

  • @stang1987ful No, just knew that I would need additional volume with engine upgrade. Craig

  • I never liked the notch's till I saw this one. Clean car man. I really like the cobra wheels on it.

  • @MrCamaroKiller thanks. checkout other videos after further restoration. Craig

  • Very nice let mr me know if u wanna sell it

  • @Z7EXTREMEBABY Not planning to sell, but everyone has a number! thanks, Craig

  • How much would an engine like yours cost to build? (roughly)

  • @1965mustangfb $5-$8k depending on components used.

  • very nice man

  • @1965mustangfb thank you. Craig

  • nice car I just bought a 85' mustang has some upgrades i sold a 80' chevy malibu to get it i love the ford mustang just never been a camaro guy...

  • Would i have that sound on a 93 thunderbird lx 5.0L?

  • @FUNNYman1808 don't think so. I had a custom-grind cam along with h-pipe and so on. Stock 5.0 would be close, but not exactly. Checkout my other videos. The exhaust is currently different and doesn't sound the same. Thanks for viewing. Craig

  • Great looking LX, love the cobra wheels on it as well.

  • @FuelSniffer thanks. checkout my other videos for work done. Craig

  • @917Jolly thanks. Craig

  • sounds great, looks great.

  • Sick stang my man : )

  • What block do you start with to get a 331 after swapping the crank? I know bored .030 over with a 4" stroke crank makes a 302 a 347

  • @xXCannonXx 331 and 347's are both based off a 302 block. I would stay with a 331; too much stress when going to 347 after starting with 302 block. Craig

  • @419forest

nice car man!!! i had a 90 notch 347, trickflow r series cam heads, intake, etc.... u like the g40 intake? thats a explorer one right? what heads u running? and the 93 cobra wheels look perfect

  • @ohword07 see details in video description...Edelbrock Victor Jr, Cobra GT40. thanks. Craig

  • @419forest good luck? y?

  • Very nice notch i'm thinking about selling my 91' GT for a notch.

  • @TripleC2386 make sure it's original and not a 4cyl conversion. good luck.

  • Sounds great!

  • 678-LVK

  • @stanggt89 I guess I need to do something about that?

  • very nice stang! you can still read your tag though.

  • i have a question, what do you need for a stroker project? i found a kit on dss racing for $820 is that all i need or do i need other things? thanks

  • @buffayetistallicorn If you're using your existing block, it will need to be machined flat for precision, upgrade to high flow water pump, decide on stroker kit size, decide on forged internals, you will need to consider purchasing new heads to match flow characteristics of stroker kit you buy, ARP studs for heads, high quality head gaskets, new journals, high capacity oil pan & high flow oil pump, larger injectors, fuel rails, etc. There's a science to producing your target hp. Good luck!

  • that thing is f'n sweet, good lookin and sounds narly!

  • @cobra4v98 thanks. check out other updated videos. Craig

  • Whats your exhaust set up?

  • @peuknee In this video its: jba shorties, bassani h pipe w/cats, 40 series flowmaster. check out my other videos. thanks, Craig

  • @fit14u thanks! car is going to tuner next week, check later video post for dyno numbers. Craig

  • pause it at 0:01 you can read it with out squinthing

  • @primeredstang wow,..you're probably the 5th person to point that out. I guess that I need to do something about that?

  • you can still see your plate

  • sound good and look good

  • very nice. what does it run on the strip?

  • @dunejumper1995 not taken it to the strip. my setup has changed since this video. see newer uploads. thanks, craig

  • @dunejumper1995 hadn't run on strip; tend to break stuff and cost too much money to fix. My new setup now includes a KB 2.2; look for newer video posts. thanks. Craig

  • what's your exhaust setup? our cars sound the same :D the video i have is old though...that was a year ago. now it has heads, cam and an intake. Your car is very clean too...nice!

  • very nice notch

  • sounds buck nasty boiiiii!

  • @jdmjerry1 Thanks for the comment. Craig

  • WHAT SIZE CAM UR RUNNING?

  • @FASTFORDDEWAYNE don't have the specs on me. My engine builder just took my requirements and made it happen.

  • hell yeah my man i just bought an 88 gt i love to talking to other 5.0's or 4.6's and growlin at small block 350's

  • is it a must to change out the mass air meter when u change ure fuel injectorsor can u just use the stock meter

  • You must match the MAF meter with the injector size. You also need to get the computer re-tuned so that it will recognize the modified components to ensure the proper air to fuel ratio. Otherwise your larger injectors will pulse at the OEM tune and run fat (too much fuel).

You can use the stock meter, but you have to send it off to get re-tuned to match the injectors; ie, new 42 lb injectors will require the stock meter to be re-calibrated from 19# to 42#.

  • @419forest so the sct tuner will work for this right?

  • @Sincityz1989 yes

  • @419forest ok cool and all you do is tell them what your setup is and they program it for you?

  • @Sincityz1989 I would suggest that you get with a speed shop to get them install the SCT on a dyno. You will still need to list any performance mods done to the car so that they can dial it in for your components.

  • @Sincityz1989 I need to clairfy. It will not work with the hand-held SCT tuner. It will work with the SCT add-on tuner for the factory computer. It will have a selector for you to manually change between tunes. Craig

  • Sounds like a good combination. Should run in the high 11's. Overall, nice car!

  • Thanks for the comment. I haven't taken it to the track to give it a run. Craig

  • I like how the camera shakes every time it revs!

  • thanks for comment. Craig

  • nice job man.

  • thanks. Craig

  • Dude i got a 87 four banger .And I wanna do the swap to get the 331 would it be difficult to do?

  • I don't know since you are on a carb setup. I would assume that it wouldn't be too bad as long as you stayed with a carb. My setup is EFI. thanks, Craig

  • Oh sorry I forget to tell you WOW due thats the sound I`m looking for in a mustang!! I had a 88 gt vert I love the verts I`m in FLA!!!!!!!! Nothing like pulling up to a light with a rice buggy sitting next to you and you hit the throttle!!!!!!!!

  • check out my second video after the tune. It sounds even better.

  • That this is so clean. Beautiful car. Props to you man.

  • thanks for the comment. Craig

  • that privacy thing doesn't work...678-LYK

  • you're right. It was a failed attempt. Craig

  • @thetowneastpaloalto and all you're doing is being ignorant by pointing it out.

  • dude your car is sick

  • @crabpeoples thanks

  • @crabpeoples thanks. look for newer video posts for new setup...it's been painted.

  • nice, either way I can't wait to see the future of this beautiful car, you really have done an amazing job Craig. Bravo friend.

  • you put that KB blower on it yet?

  • not yet, working on fuel system first.

  • why not 347?

  • cylinder wristpin causes a steeper angle and shorter wear life. I would consider a 351 or 408 instead, due to having a thicker block (not built off a 302) if you want more than 331 inches.

  • yea thats what i thought great car man sweet fox

  • I'm going with 347. Those so called issues that the 347 have are greatly exaggerated. It would cost the same to build a 347 and your gonna beat on it anyway, so why not get the extra cubes. Moreover, the lifespan between the 331 and 347 is negligible. In addition, w/ proper maintenance there is no reason why you can't get 100k. But ofcourse you have to go with quality components. Remember this adage...There is never enuf money to do it right, but somehow there is always money to do it twice.

  • You right about the twice thing.I found out the hard way you can`t go from fully synthetic back to regular oil.

  • @Johnny5liter lol couldnt put it any better than that..talkin bout the doing it twice thing..

  • 678-lyk. i could see it through the blue square. nice mustang. right now i drive a 98 prelude but over the past couple of months ive really fallen for mustangs. my dream car is a cobra but im 18 so thats not gonna happen for now so im trying to get a fox. i want a 460 in it though.

  • how much rwhp????

  • awsome car, cant wait until i make mine a 331

ps, the privicy box doesnt really block anything fyi

  • Very Respectable Stang Craig. dont listen to those Jack asses talking trash. You know what you have and what you have Kicks Ass!

  • Best sound Ever!!

  • good looking car, and sounds great. have you taken it down the strip yet?

  • No, I won't be taking it to the strip. I'd be sick if I broke something during a race. Craig

  • yo craig bro your foxbody is nice bro!! ima get me one :DD
