Gotta' watch dogs near the top of that waterfall. A dog or person would be soggy dead meat if they fell into that sucker from the top where the trail goes.

I hike this area often. I tried the Perry Creek trail twice and each time I turned around just past the falls because the insects kept flying in my face. Other than that it was not an overly harsh hike. Both Mt. Dickerman and Pilchuck are more strenuous and with better views from summit. I am going to have to rig up a screen hat of some sort.
