  • How much did it cost to make

  • Sweet

  • nice video man love it!!! and you did a good job at filming and driving.

  • If your interested...I know a simple way to program the truck so you dont have to drive it. Basically you drive it once over the path you want. Record it. Then play it back.

  • genius!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice

  • Is That a rear wheel steer?

  • cool

  • Where u from

  • oh beacuse im converting my ruckus 1/10 monster truck to a snow plow im putting a spektrum dx5e and putting a 60 turn motor with a 8.4v 5,000 mah ni-mh

  • WHAT MOTOR PLEASE RESPOND I WOULD APPRICATE IT

  • @john685711 In the video was 15T double Venom motors (as in the video description). Currently Integy Matrix Pro Lathe Motor 35T Single.

  • Where did you hook the servo up to

  • at 0:23 get hit by snow plow lol

  • you should try to roll the blade a little more, you would be able to plow fast

  • Comment removed

  • Darn... because of you, I now have to modify my R/C... Proud of yourself now ? :)

  • @LucRepentigny J'en connais un qui va déblayer son entré!

  • job and fun in 1 XD nice vid.

  • Does it get the job done.

  • That. Is. So. COOL!

  • what did you make the plow out of

  • VERY COOL !!!!!!!!

  • Hey what did you use for the frame to the plow... I wanna make one but am clueless on how to make the frame to connect to the car. Don't know what to use.

  • @masterwolf1212 I used aluminum "L" stock that you can pick up from any local hardware store or home improvement store.

  • @pflumitch Nice. I think its really cool this thing got on the news too :D I will do this, but my main concern atm is the motor. Pushing snow will put a good amount of strain on the motor. What gearing ratio do you have? I'm thinking of maybe starting out doing this using some tie rods, and then over the summer going over to an L stock. Its just atm our tools are in our summer house to do stuff like this. Thanks!

  • daco109 i wanna make a plow for my rock crawler i also want to make it go side to side and up and down

  • @daco109 You can use a servo to do the up and down, you connect it to an open channel, on the receiver box which will allow it, for left and right I guess another servo, so you need a few channels open.

  • thts really cool

  • cool

  • What kind of plow did you use? Where did you get it.

  • hey what type of rc truck is that?

  • I could watch this all day. Too bad I can't watch this on MY driveway. :D

  • lol how much did that cost to make ? if so would you be up to making more ?

  • Bruiser likes it ! HEHE !

  • 1st of all love your vid just wondering what kind of metal you used and how thick it is ?

  • @yamapro615 The blade is rolled Steel with aluminum strip used as a "cutting blade".

  • @pflumitch thanks

  • where do you get a sevro

  • CAn you plz show me where i can buy a servo? I am new to this.

  • best one yet

  • now this actually gets the job done!

  • I love it! Thumbs up!

  • THATS AWESOME

  • could you make me a plow for a Tmaxx?

  • how do you get the plow to go up and down?

  • @BADASSED88 Just a servo mounted on the chassis that lifts up the plow.

  • @pflumitch were did u get the servo

  • @flynnlandscaping You can get a servo anywhere, some examples...your local hobby store, tower hobbies , hobby people

There are TONS of places you can get equipment like this (google is your friend). Good luck.

  • @flynnlandscaping Err, if you don't know where to get a servo I don't think you're ready to build a custom plow bro... Gotta just start out with modifying a truck with regular addons before getting into the custom stuff.

  • @masterwolf1212 already done

  • Wow your car works very good

better than i can do on my own

  • thats awesome now i can clear my driveway from inside the house and stop being cold !! lol

  • Would Spools help my E-Maxx plow snow? Would i need a spool for both front and rear diffs.

  • @etzkorn13 Yes, spools will help immensely. Both front and rear if you can.

  • @etzkorn13 wht r spools?

  • @11TurboDiesel Spools are just permanently locked differentials.

  • that awsome but how do u make it go up and down???

  • @TheTman171 using the 3rd channel on my radio and a servo.

  • @pflumitch cool thanks is that gas powerd

  • @TheTman171 Nope, all electric.

  • @pflumitch cool thats good cuz I got a electric truck and want to make a snow plow

  • how did u make that????? plz let me know

  • hahaha baaad azzzzzzzz!! it really works! I love the way it works with a servo??? just SIK !! I want one now thaTS IT

  • now just 200 more times and the drive way is clear!

  • @memyselfandi259 I can do my driveway in about 15 minutes with this, check out my other videos. I do have something much bigger in the works though.

  • if i put a long plow on a jato that is long enough and heavy enough would it work cuz the jato is pure torque and id love to sit in my house and have it do all the work.

  • @caddycoupe1021 Honestly, anything will work it just depends on how much time and thought you are willing to put into it. With that said, a nitro is a tough platform to make into a plow vehicle effectively and a Jato, of all nitros, will even be tough and less effective. You can make it work, but how well is a question of how much time and thought you put into it.

  • thats r'n awsome...where do i get one?

  • @xI3elialx I'm thinking of putting this one up on ebay, but stay tuned for something bigger and better in the near future.

  • this is cool... now you just need to build a jump with it to jump:)

  • awesome lol, nice job setting up a servo controlled plow.

  • That's my job in relation to my PB600Ppolar. Good work.

  • Do they sell salt-spreaders too? That would be the sh**. :-)

  • where do i go to find the 'coldbuster'

  • @flyyyproductions A Tamiya Clodbuster can be found at you Hobby Store, Most online retailers, even ebay for some new/used ones. It was one of the most popular trucks of all time, I'm sure you can find one around. Just search around.

  • my jato is pretty heavy but it is not 4 wheel drive but i have tires on the rear that are like spikes?................should i get it for the jato or not ?

  • will the plow work on a jato 3.3

  • @flyyyproductions Not well. You need a truck that is preferably 4wd, and has torque and is heavy.

  • hey,i looked up 'ESP snow plow' and it is 99$ does that come with the blade and every thing?

  • ok thanks man if i have any other ?'s ill just ask you, thanks

  • do you have to buy a car with that already on it or is it a part

  • where to you get the plows ,because i need to know what website or where ever you got it cause im getting one if i can find one

  • @flyyyproductions The plow was made for the truck, so I did not come with it. ESP is the only company I know of that commercially sells plows (for the Clodbuster and E-maxx) just go to ebay and search "ESP Snow Plow". Also check out Troyster (search on youtube) he is great when it comes to plows.

  • how much snow can ti plow

  • @patclay12345 3" of the lighter stuff is about its limit. It just doesn't have enough weight for traction. Just wait though to see what my new one can do.

  • nice have u ever plowed the whole drive from inside

  • @metamorabirds98 All the time! I've actually have done it already twice tonight from the snow storm.

  • yeh its nice idea

  • sounds good srry i watsed your time lol

  • aww dang thats soo ture i dont want to rip you off the highest i could go well cause im a 12yr old and this is all the money i have is 210 but again i dont want to rip you off cause that think is wortha lot more then that.

  • i dont think you could even buy the electronics with that.

perhaps you should start with something a little less complicated than a tamiya, anything really. go get an Axial SCX10.

i would estimate this truck would sell on ebay for around 600.

  • $145

  • @jackkkkiieiie A stock TXT-1 new in the box is about $400. Let alone the electronics I have in this and the custom work on the truck/plow/plow mount.

  • well how much would you ask for im willling to pay a pretty good price

  • if i made this plow how could i mount it on my RC bobcat?

  • @IMATANK84 I have no idea. I would have to see the RC bobcat up close in person.

  • can i buy it off u

  • @jackkkkiieiie Depends, for the right price I could be persuaded.

  • what kind of links did u use to mount the plow im having trouble keeping mine from moving

  • The plow is mounted to the truck by Aluminum 90* L stock. Look at my other videos, Part 2, for a close up of the plow mount.

  • Can I run at high speeds with them or do I need to switch back to the stock ones.

  • @etzkorn13 Sure....it is just going to put more stress on the drivetrain.

  • Awesome!!

  • So does it really help in plowing and i need two for the front and rear diff case.

  • @etzkorn13 absolutely, spools are needed if you are in a low traction spot (snowy/ice driveway) and trying to push. If you didn't have spools, as soon as a tire looses traction all the power will go to that wheel and none to the tires that do have traction.

  • that was bad ass. !

  • What diffs are on it and will they fit on my E-MAXX? Where can I buy them?

  • @etzkorn13 They are spools made of the TXT-1 by RC4WD. If you google search E-maxx spool you will get a lot of dealers that sell E-maxx spools.

  • how do you put put the plow on? where could you but the plow and servo?

  • @nmtbaseball31 The plow is mounted to the front axle with bolts, and the lift servo is mounted to the upper plate of the chassis.

  • or you could not be lazy and walk and do it in 1/8 of the time??

  • angle the blade

  • the funny part is it rly works Wow cool i need one

  • whats the plow made out of, im trying to get mine working correctly

  • @Aaron123456100 The plow blade is made of Rolled steel, and the frame is just 90* aluminum stock.

  • Thats awesome.

How do you like the mg946r?

  • @MonsterMX82 I think they are great servos for $10-20ish. They are better than the 995s, I have 3 of them and ordered 2 more and none have let me down. People can not expect these though to compete with the high end $100 servos, but if you don't need amazingly accurate centering, smoothness, etc this servo is a great buy.

  • how do you put on the snow plow?

  • @rrrricky9 Look at my other video. You can see more in detail how the plow is mounted.

  • This is great. Nice work. How long does it take you to plow the driveway? How many batteries does it take. This looks like a real good project for my son and I!

  • @Silverexpress01 Thanks for the compliments! Depending on how much snow I have. I can typically get it done though in 15-20 minutes. I am using 2 Duratrax 4200 mah 6 cell battiers wired in Parallel so I have 7.2 Volts with 8400mah to use. I am using NiMh because weight on the truck is a good thing vs using lightweight Lipos. The more weight on the truck the easier it is to find traction. Let me know if you need any more help.

  • im build one to but its going to have chains and urs is so cool

  • what did you use for a plow

  • @magicboy10aa It's rolled steel

  • well. you should build a snow track with the rc car then drive the car on it that would be sweet

  • U need a little price of rubber at the so it would wear out the blade

  • whats up with the screams your mom or dad killin someone

  • My 2 dogs in the back yard barking at me

  • now in the next winters you can stay in house at the window , at het , have some hot choccolate and plow the snow

  • How did you hook up the servo to pick up the plow?

  • The end of the chain has a bolt through it that bolts to the plow mount

  • nice truck dude. by the way what kind of tires and rims are those??

  • Stock TXT-1 Rims and Tires. I dremelled every other lug on the tires.

  • ok thanks

  • i live phx az and it nevers snows but i want one !!!!!

  • thats kool

  • wow thats accually really strong did you make it yourself???

  • The plow is custom made and the truck is a heavily modified tamiya txt-1

  • OK Thank You

  • Spricht hier jemand deutsch ?

  • Ein wenig. Wenn I don' t wissen, dass es ich einen on-line-Übersetzer benutzt

  • cool 4 wheel steering

  • neat, what are you using to control to plow movements? you have a seperate controler or something?

  • At the time the video was made I was using the 3rd channel of my radio to control the up/down of the plow. I have since made a new bracket that allows me to use my 4th channel to angle the plow left/right....Just waiting for one last snow fall to get a video up of it working.

  • is that a custom body??

  • No....Parma '72 Chevy Pickup C-10 body, black paint with black tint on the windows.

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Stay tuned. I just got a new Futaba 4GWD to add another channel for plow angle. I just need to hook it up and fashion some new mount brackets with a servo.

  • is it hard to put the plow on the truck?

  • Not even a 5 min job. 2 screws mount the plow brackets onto the truck and then disconnect the servo horn for the lift.

  • wow that plow works really well!!!

where did u get the plow or did it come on the truck??

  • Thanks! The plow was custom made for the truck.

  • Nice and professional job!! Looks really great plowing. 5/5

  • its so cool i dont think u even need tires

  • how did u make the plow cuz i have the lunch box an im wondering if u can tell me step by step how to do that

  • That thing is sweet Brother!!

  • I am going to make a plow for my revo.. it will be fun

  • your tires are backwards.

  • he does that for more traction

  • um nope

you get more traction the other way

  • that is the coolest rc thing i have ever seen. i want that truck! i would trade u my brushless stampede and xxx4 for it!

  • That is awesome!

  • Thanks, I think I'm going to make some chains for the tires to just finish it off.

  • Glad to see you properly did it with the 3rd channel and such, otherwise I'da given this a bad rating :)

  • outstanding!!! Best working plow made!!

I really like how you mounted the servo for raising it.

  • Agreed...it's a great plow! Nice work! It worked out great on the TXT. I need at least 3" of snow to test this thing. The 1.5" in the video didn't even make it flinch and had no problem with traction.
