Why does everyone weigh-in on the "expensive maintenance" of Ducati? Yes they cost more, yes they are less common so parts cost more. Remember that these bikes, especially the post bevel models were race bikes before street versions appeared and therefore engineered to higher standards. I have had problems with light switches, gauges, and cracked bodywork, no big deal. Change belts and adjust valves. They are far from being museum pieces.

Sure is! Ducati motorcycles are essentially racing machines that are modified for use on the street. To do this, Ducati adds street features like turn signals, mirrors, and lights LOL just to please the annoying cops on the road.
