It can over time cause damage to the eye based on the ingredients in your eyeliner. The ingredients seep into your eye, which is much more permeable than the skin, and those chemicals can possibly cause blindness. It's a foreign substance being sucked into your eye.

It can also cause infections, and multiple infections could cause a lot of potential eye damage. It can mess with your tear ducts as well. when the liner begins to disappear during the day, where do you think it goes?

This is true my eye doctor told me not to put any eyeliner on my waterline... He said it can cause problems with ur eye in the future. So, it is all at ur own risk.

You may not notice any problems for years, or ever, but why take that chance?

Some liners are def safer than others but none are rec by eye dr.
