  • I can strongly recommend this series of videos to anyone with a serious interest in martial arts or Wing Chun in particular. Sifu Shaun has a gift for explaining the essential principles of Wing Chun in a clear (and entertaining) way, without the egotistical encumbrances of some other teachers. His morality is well grounded as is his common sense no-nonsense approach to the art and how it should be taught (and learnt). Thank-you for posting these videos for everyone to see and learn from.

  • Absolutely brilliant mate. Thank you for the video.

  • @jojojshmo Ahh glad you liked it bro!!

  • knew nothing about wing chun before but watched all parts and found it very interesting shaun rawcliffe looks one tough hombre and it crossed my mind could some parts of wing chun be added to a boxer?

just on stances and blocking i feel it could be effective in the ring dont know but really enjoyed these vids.

  • @futurejab Yes if you look at how the Klitschkos keep their heads back and kind of sit on their stance, this kind of balance is explained in i think part 2 or three of the vid. We are very different to boxing attack wise, definitely but as with all martial arts we share a few things too. Wing chun is known in some parts of china as simply "street boxing"

  • @ukwingchunstudent cheers student once again enlightned me ive tried judo and taekwondo but they didnt do it for me just wish wing chun classes were up here in edinburgh.

  • @CharlieBoyd100 I'm not too sure, there will be a list of school at wingchun .co .uk i think its here UK anD Italy as far as i know. I'm sure there are non Ip Man lines of Kung Fu being taught in the US though. But that's different to our school.

  • ty student for acknoledging my request good to have u back at least for a bit whats the news on your fight with dan rafeal :p

  • ty student for acknoledging my request good to have u back at least for a bit

  • @HighPointAirsoft He didn't want it lol. Hahah

  • It is very impressive and he's a great teacher...but if five teenage pikies come up to you at night, askin if you've got a spare cigarette....would you remember punchin angles and foot positioning?

  • @robjturner No, which is exactly what he says in part two i think. Check it out. Its not about remembering what to do, or foot positioning its repetition until it becomes natural, instinctive and the body re acts, the same with any effective martial art really.

  • @ukwingchunstudent Thats exactly it, it's about over riding the brains built in program and forcing practice so much it becomes second nature.

  • Very impressive bro.

  • @iftyshifty Thank you mate, it's a closed seminar so mainly for other Wing Chun peeps to learn some tips from, but people new to the art can still see some cool stuff here and maybe take some basics away, especially with the self defence bits in parts 3,4 etc. Thanks for watchin.

  • woo ur back brother!

  • @shadowcaz Hahaha not quite, Sep 10th man, back re-freshed
