Hi, Thanks. He is definitely brave! This is a regular Dexcom sensor. It is different from the Minimed sensors and does come pre-loaded. Different companies. :)
@ThereIsHope - I have never worn it, but I have inserted the Superhero's Dex site a few times. He says it doesn't hurt. He's more scared of the pump site change!
Much respect to the little man! I got type 1 and couldn't imagine raising a child with it. Having the CGM on your son must be a big relief for you! Thanks for the post, g'luck …
he is so cute :D :D i had diabetes when i was almost his age and i am 19 now and just thinking on getting a cgm and a pump my parents ar like nooooo way !!!! god pless him he is so brave and cuuute <3
Thanks so much for posting this. I've shown superhero's site insertion and this one to my daughter... we just put the sensor on her dad this evening. She said she's ready to have it on her next week. She's watched it a couple of times today. I hope she'll be as brave as your son one of these days.
Zane is awesome. Caleb has been reluctant to try his arm. He watched Zane and smiled the whole way through it. So here's perspective for me that my boy is growing up - he turns to me and says, "Mom he's so cute. He sounds like me when I was little." I guess Caleb really isn't little anymore. Zane actually does sound just like Caleb. Too cute. I'll let you know how our arm insertion goes. Thanks for posting! You guys make an awesome team! Lorraine
Im getting one of those on the 29... i got type 1 at the age of 3 and im now 16.

That's awesome. What a brave little guy! Is that a pediatric sensor? The adult setup isn't preloaded.
