I attempted to type in a constructive manner, but all i could come up w/ was that this so called film SUCKED big time. I & many other movie goers found ourselves irritated, sucking our teeth, turning our heads, growing bigger migraines as the movie progressed. I sat through it to at least get my money's worth, in the end i yearned 4 a refund. I could have given that $ to a charity than this crap. "The Messengers" ONLY message is "Stay away. Beware. I liked this movie to tell the truth and I giggled as the crows started attacking the guy. The beginning, seeing the first family of the house die, was enjoying. I'm sorry but it was to me. I still jump from this movie xD

This film had so many problems because of studio meddling. They ended up firing the director(s?) and getting someone else to reshoot half of it, ala, Superman 2, Invasion, that Andy Lau movie about a kidnapping, and what almost happened to Bladerunner and Alien 3, etc. Wait a minute, were all of those Fox Studios? They hire a creative team for a reason and then get all Control Freak when the movie isn't what they expected.

The idea is that the kid is so young, he doesn't know that he is seeing ghosts and that he should be affraid. The film isn't great but I would have loved to see it when it was actually done, and not after the studio messed with it.

She's not at all a talented girl, I went to see the movie, thought it would be awesome just because of her. I walked out of the damn theatre, it was just a terrible, to original performance. I stayed till about the last 30 minutes, and just walked out.

Japanese, Korean, and Chinese directors should be brought to the U.S. to direct the real good stuff. The psychological stuff they do with their movies, they are ten times scarier then almost any american horror. K, C, and J horror films are almost too scary, like a Tale of Two Sisters(AkA:American film Uninvited, which sucked compared to the original) is an original K-Horror film, I was scared for like a week just because of that film, and I don't scare easily.

i couldnt agree more. i never really watch the hollywood version. it just makes me feel really irritated because they cant get the scare right... the tale of two sisters and uninvited, one missed call, the grudge and the ring, they had me stay up all night.

I would just say "some ol' bullshit." I mean, as bad as PG-13 thrillers are, this movie was complete shit. It was incredibly predictable and that teenage girl annoyed the hell out of me. I think it would be best to let kids wait until they're old enough for R material then make all these thrillers for us to suffer through.
