so... Su-47 has Design (thinnest wings then f22) and materials, buy not painting

@Shurryy actually it does depend because aces sometimes modify there plane to do better vs others so it depends how the ace configures the plane like some aces i know had there plane special made for improved performance

The performance can only be improved so so much. The Su-47 already has better turning rate than the F-22 but that's not the point.

Another thing that ensures the Su-47 to lose is that it isn't even a military aircraft. It's just a prototype, it has no armaments whatsoever which could also explain it's better turning rate: Not weighed down my missiles. Hence this discussion is actually pointless. Then again if somebody pointed a gun to your forehead and you didn't see it, you die.

How would it benefit you to send a soldier to war without a gun against an enemy who can not be seen and DO have guns. Your only advantage being more nimble and quick because you are not weighed down by weaponry? Of course you could pull a RAMBO and take em out using survival skills... Good luck finding them though.

I am sorry, but it's facts. A true fighterpilot and all that is very honorable and all, it would have been fine if they put equal planes up against each other... But in todays age fighter jets come in so many variations with their own special field and some are simply better than others, there is no balance in performance between the aircrafts, it's supposed to be that way and hence the Raptor just emerges victorious... It's the best one out there so far, not much to do about it.

Yes that is something I can respect and understand... But the world is constantly pursuing technology and advancements to decrease the number of casualties for their own side and increase casualties for the enemy, to ensure a quick victory. Dogfighting in this age has become a "Fire and Forget" engagement, you fire a missile and hope for it to hit the target. I have a feeling Missiles will be less useful in the future though... As Missile Jammers or something will probably kick in.

First learn to spell correctly. Then spend some time learning about modern jet planes. F-22 is the best plane out there. It is better then Su-47, F-35 is a piece of crap, and it is a strike plane not a fighter. Su-47 is technology demo plane. Being a soviet makes you biased. Im Croat, i really like Su-47, and Ka-50, but F-22 is better then Su-47, deal with it.
