ive got an amp just like it (mine may be just a bit older), but man do they rock for their size! Im wanting to get the newer ones that have the clean/dist/and 2 overdrives plus (if Im not mistaken) 4 presets. that would make this amp more versatile, but Im sure it still has that mean little Marshall tone! you play well by the way!

There are better CHEAP amps. A Laney AOR, a Peavey Windsor, Crate Palomino, all smoke the ass of the MG. More expensive = better is not always true, but seems to be the case for Marshall amplification.

Hello, some of us have to drive second hand beetles, eat hot dogs, and dream about owning a good amp and quality guitar. the Marshall MG15DFX is probably the best amp you will find for the money, specially if you like to play it clean or with a little reverb. My only complaint was that the Line Out feed, well to call it dreadful would be a compliment.

The line out is used when you play in big concerts and you think your amp isn't loud enuf so you connect yours to another amp's input for more power :). but you get the same tone and sound of your amp

I used to have this amp. It's pretty noisy; you definitely need a noise gate in there to take care of it. I ended up selling it and getting a Line 6 Tone Port UX1 for bedroom playing and it's much better than this.
