That little bit of grease will cause less stress on anything that spins including the engine as it will not have to work as hard to overcome the friction of a dry bearing.
Tinkle tinkle tinkle! Not a good sound when you walk in the machine room! Fair warning, can't hear a dry bearing that uses a chain carrier! Important to physically check all bearings on a PM visit! Thanks John!
Great point. Thankyou. I haven't seen a chain carrier in almost 3 years.Miss those high risers.I can't make a video on those as I'm working with a lot of old low rise equipment.
Yes that is soo true, whenever I clean scooter motors I allways lube the bearings
