    You are a smart man. Good Work.

    That little bit of grease will cause less stress on anything that spins including the engine as it will not have to work as hard to overcome the friction of a dry bearing.

  • Tinkle tinkle tinkle! Not a good sound when you walk in the machine room! Fair warning, can't hear a dry bearing that uses a chain carrier! Important to physically check all bearings on a PM visit! Thanks John!

    Great point. Thankyou. I haven't seen a chain carrier in almost 3 years.Miss those high risers.I can't make a video on those as I'm working with a lot of old low rise equipment.
