  • Mr. Woods and Gusty. I am a disabled dwarf now. I have grown up with you and gusty all of my childhood. My two children and my two grandchildren know of you and gusty. I was never able to be where I could meet you due to my disablilities and then just life in general. If at all possible. I would love a picture of you and gusty becausse you are a spectacular person. So, if at all possible I would love to have one of you gusty's. Thank you Tina753429

  • I grew up watching watching KTUL during the 1970S and 1980s and I missed Uncle Zeb RIP Uncle Zeb we will meet again someday! Don Woods is my favorite Wx caster Gusty now is Oklahoma ST cartoon icon!

  • Grew up in Tulsa watching Don Woods draw gusty. Folks let me stay just to see it. Great memories.

  • This was the best part of the new. Watching Don Woods draw Gusty. I was a child of the 70's. This along with Uncle Zeb was one of the few programs I would make a point to watch.

  • I grew up in Fayetteville Arkansas and loved watching Don and Gusty. I actually received a Gusty in 1969. I am searching through my recently deceased parents things trying to find it.

  • Love Don Woods, too bad this video doesn't show more Gusty cartoons.

  • Thanks for the bringing back the memories.

  • Don't forget "Mr. Zing and Tuffy" and the infamous "Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting."

  • I remember being amazed by the first radar images of precipitation in the area - I didn't know it was from a B-25 bomber!

  • I lived in Broken Arrow for three years and use to love watching Don Woods and Gusty. I was there when they ran the promo of Mr Woods falling off the horse. No weatherman anywhere is better than Don Woods.

  • Don Woods, a true Tulsa treasure.

  • i am from ft smith but in the 70s we would all watch ktul because they had the radar and of corse gusty. don woods is great giving the weather and i loved seeing gusty every night. sometimes just to see what he would do. i always loved it when he would dive into his fraddy hole. great vid of don woods.thsnk you don for a lot of wonderfull memories.

  • Childhood memories for sure. Born and raised in Tulsa. Gusty was on ABC and CBS had Lee Woodward and King Lionel. The 70's were a funtime to grow up in Tulsa.

  • Carl was Uncle Zeb

  • That was a very entertaining video, I grew up in Tulsa, and I'm still here. I watch Gusty come to life many times. Thank you for putting Tulsa on the map in a good light.
