Wow, I LOVE that shade of blue! What exactly did you do to get that nice sheen? Did you apply the paint straight onto the model, apply primer, apply a base coat of silver first, or what? If you used primer, what color? White, grey? I'd LOVE to be able to get that nice shade of blue on an upcoming project of mine!

beautiful! I was lucky gettin one too. but, my frame came in grey plastik. what do you use to paint chrome? ohh and my top lights are white plastik, no chrome! whats the secret of painting chrome? :D

@ebaGabe Ah, for this I must send you to another of my videos. On this particular model I actually had the parts plated by a company called "Chrometech" and they're at chrometechusa . com but it can be pricey. For a less expensive option I would recommend dupli-color and you can get it at Autozone. Watch your inbox, I will send you my other vid.

aeawsome toyota 4x4, lot of chrome , i almost thought it was a rc , 50 stars , nice paint bro' , came out very nice for a redo , did you have any of the parts chrome plated or did the kit have that much chrome , aeawsome build , peace out !

@ralph00611 Oh yea, like I said, the box showed it all chrome but only about half of them were. So yea, I had the rest plated.
