Extremely rare any of us technicians are given due credit in public for their contribution in bringing ideas in real world. You need a certain amount of know-how and intelligence, of course, but above all, creativity and dedication. Cheers Mr. Rogers!
@ThibetanMonk In our research group, the technicians are co-authors of the papers that we publish if they made a significant to the research in that paper. That's well earned, because they do some amazing work.
