Why is jumping crouched people impressive with about a mile run up? I'll give them there break falls weren't bad though. Of course balloon awreness week isn't in season. Kid doin the form needs more arm technique focus but some good balance on those mats with the kicks. I'm guessing these were creative forms and not traditional. All in all one of the better youtube demos. 8/10
you spread out your limbs to increase the surface of your body that hits the ground, so no one body part hits very hard. also by spreading your arms, you land on your lat muscles instead of your spine, and don't get the wind knocked out of you either.
actually, i from philippines. my teacher use to train in the east coast. luckily, my teacher is my mom's church friend and that's how i met "hwarangdo"..the moment i started training,i knew i was gonna love it!!!!!!!!
those little kids cracked me up! lol their comments were funny...it's funny how amused little kids get! Yeah they look way more intense at Hwa Rang Do than here, that's for sure!
