The animations for THIS game were specifically crafted for the game, so yes, they look good (they're venue-specific, which is why you can only play each song in their respective venue). Guitar Hero typically does this for all its songs so you get a lot of unique-looking and fluid stuff (check out GH: Metallica and tell me that doesn't look really good).

Rock Band codes the animations into the game's MIDI files. RB3 has some really wonky-looking animations.

One: when they got right close to Billie Joe Armstrong's face, he should have crossed his eyes or made a face or something. That would've been so much cooler.

Two: they seem to have gotten rid of that sound and flattened it out...anyone get what I mean by this? It's not as...what...I don't know, gruff sounding? Almost? As the original songs? Rock Band edited their voices a bit, I can tell...It sounds weird, I don't like it.

If this game is sold edited for content, Green Day are hypocrites. When 21st Century Breakdown came out, they refused to sell it at Walmart. Why? Walmart wanted them to sell an edited or "clean" version of the album, and they weren't having that because they're all "down with censorship"! Regardless, I'm still gonna sing every word, whether it's on the screen or not, so I guess it doesn't even matter. Just saying...
