lasertag = inexpensive + no pain + shoot a guy he come back online and just shoots you

Paintball = expensive + hurts + thrill that you can actually get hurt so you have something to lose

@plazcheetah Besides an overpowered gun, frozen balls or improperly used safety equipment, there really ISN'T more chance to get hurt with a paintball. And remember there are as many game types in LT as there are in paintball, so no, not in all types will they be able to "come back online" and shoot you.

Also note that there's a much more sophisticated scoring system, and so there's a lot more reputation to be upheld because everyone knows exactly how you perform. There's plenty to loose.

Well, even basic gear can have pretty good record keeping. The Laser Tag Team Ops (LTTO) Deluxe, Drone (IRTx2), and TMB can each host about 12 game types including things like Own the Zone, Respawn, and Hunt the Prey. They also "debrief" at games end, meaning each gun is told who had the highest number of hits, kept the Zone (think king of the hill), and other miscellaneous data.

More professional LT centers typically keep track of shot locations, % hits, and even more miscellaneous things.

The limits are associated with height, not age, like rides in a theme park.

And whoever said this was a kid thing is just some old prude to be ignored.

We typically didn't have age or height restrictions at our facility. The packs weigh about 15lbs so usually kids younger than 6 complained the packs were heavy so we recommended they not play. We also rarely allowed young kids (under 12-14) play with adults unless they were from the same group because adults don't always see the shorter kids and so they end up getting hurt.

My strategy is you stay in a small spot (if your small like me) and stay low whenever a person or prey that is not on your team do not use the aiming laser and the player will never know and start firing but make sure you don't have anybody watching from any angle.
