@08alexg yes the blue "huts" are for meetings between both sides. The hut is symmetrical in that it is divided evenly along the border and both sides don't need to cross to have a meeting. Quite interesting but I would guess that those chairs are pretty unused if you know what I mean.

The North Korean guy wipes it for him cause hes not allowed to move. The way the North Korean guards are positioned like that is ironic to tthe fact that they are to keep people out of there country because the setup which is the 2 north korean guards are put to the side to watch each other and to stop the other in case of defection. The guy in the middle stand facing to the north to stop any guards from passing the DML( the actual border)

North Korea might not be perfect but at least they were willing to stand up to Bush and his neo-imperialist policies, also North Korea is a much fairer system with universal healthcare. I feel sorry for all those soldiers who have to stay there as guards for both the North and South.
They would be probably be the first to die with little chance of survival if war erupted there.
Also, if I were a NK soldier, I would say fuck it and take my chances and run over to the South.
