  • Its kind of common sense that pets can harm one another, but that doesn't make having animals together inherently dangerous for them. We have an AGCongo, two dogs, two cats, and our biggest concern is just that the dogs get excited when she flies her house circuit. Everything else is cake, they get along great. They generally know to have a healthy respect for each other, instinct wise, because every one of them *could* possibly harm each other, but they're socialized so they don't want to.

  • Oh, come on people! The cat is as dangerous for the parrot as is the parrot for the cat. The parrot could as easily crack the cat's head or break the cat's spine with a single hard bite. And the cat already knows that. This is a very cute video and both of them look very much loved.

  • Best name for a parrot EVAR!!!

  • I have no idea why there friends there funny to watch, my dog likes cats too I handrear orphaned kittens and my dog zac loves them ;) x

  • OMG WATCH OUT THAT BIRD IS GOING TO GET HIS HEAD EATED.

  • Then why come the kakapoes and cats never became friends in New Zeeland? If raised up together from the very beginning?

  • Can I just tell everyone I watch them together I'm not daft simply just wanted to share the moment x

  • Id keep close eye on your cat

  • Most cats who hunt are either outdoor cats or ferals. That bird could hurt the cat pretty bad too. Indoor cats are just curious and most of the time just want to play.

  • Yes cat... observe... parrots have..... something akin to an opposable thumb, the very thing you need to take over the world.

    Make some allies...

  • -LOVE It!!!!!!

  • as unhealthy or safe for the bird that is...

    the beginning was adorbalexD

  • haha too cute

  • I think the cat was contemplating whether to pounce on the bird and eat it, but it made a very wise decision.

  • so cute the way he turns his head to check it out!

    animals rock this world!!!

  • neat

  • wow. amazing. i have a horse named shadrack.

lol.. and i have a grey parrot he tlaks soo much, we cant get him out reaally mom will but he's just mean

  • its soo cute when the cat tilts its head

its like "aww can i have some"

  • They are both precious but you do need to consider the saliva thing. But Im sure you are responcible enough to think of that. Just be cautious when letting them around each other. Best Wishes.

  • please be careful, cats carry a deadly bacteria in their saliva that will kill birds within hours. every cat has it and it can affect your bird even through the skin. also if your bird gets a hair or feather in it's mouth with cat saliva on it, it will kill him. it can even be absorbed through the skin of the bird... so those pats from the cat are dangerous! please keep your bird away from your cat. cats are predators.

  • Cat saliva has a bacteria that can kill birds in a matter of minutes/ hours depending on size. Please be careful, you have a beautiful grey! It's amazing they are friends too!

  • Wow I have a cat just like that one!

  • wow me 2

  • wow never seen this before!
