  • Good riddance Commie bastards - long live Freedom!

  • @zzremington Freedom? Yeah, I see your freedom where 90% are owned by 8%, compare life how it was in USSR 80's and USA 80's, in USSR, there were high taxes, but in return, you had free healthcare, education, vacation, sport care. 0 unemployment, 0 homeless and debt free country. Now Russia is in shithole.

We need to vote for Communist party and Gennady! So atleast Soviet Russia returns.

  • RIP

  • ;(

  • I think the end of Communism was a good thing, but Yeltsin's unconstitutional breakup of the USSR was terrible for geopolitics, Gorbachev's proposed Union of Soviet Sovereign Republics would have maintained much of the old state's power and avoided the Tsarist nostalgia under Putin, while giving the likes of Belarus and Central Asia a decent haven. Gorbachev also planned to turn state industries over to coops so the workers could benefit but Yeltsin gave them to the oligarchs!

  • i read that the communist party of russia is maybe going to win the next elections, and putin have lost many voters.... a new USSR?

  • is really the Death of Motherland or is birth of the motherland ?

  • @thesailormercury2

well the Motherland has been Russias nick name way before the USSR, and the USSR used the title as well.

So I look at it like the motherland was sick during the USSR but got better once it became the Russian Federation.

  • @ContinentalPatriot Genocide is the targeting of 1 race. Stalin killed equally.

Do not deny the crimes of the USA as well, the American Indians were exterminated in the 1800s in one the greatest genocide of all times. You call Tzarist Russia great? It was one of the most backward nations in existence. The USSR industrialized quickly, at a cost of blood. How may died in the Wests industrial revolution?

I would rather take a peoples dictatorship, than a bankers pseudodemocracy

  • @drivojulianrobotnik Get off your soapbox, this is an important part of history, and a wonderful achievement for us Americans! This virtually killed communism.

  • @drivojulianrobotnik As a Capitalist, I find him as being a freaking idiot for not remembering all the shit america has done. Even I wouldn't deny it. Tsarist Russia was crap, I'll admit that. THe Military in Tsarist Russia was shit, and the USSR made it modern. I hate Communism, but I respect it.

  • @drivojulianrobotnik +1 to that mate

  • @ContinentalPatriot Great Country of Russia?

Goddamn you need to look at your history dude

Yeah everyone starving of famines and being drafted to fight the Germans by a fat czar were the glory days

  • @ContinentalPatriot Hm, I am Russian, I am a Communist, and Mother Russia will return, mark my fucking words, Who the fuck are you to tell someone what they are? Ohhh that;s right, you're a filthy fucking American. Don't come somewhere just to disrespect peoples views (I know it may be hard, that's all Americans do) So please, Shut the fuck up, and wait for America to fall.

  • @19Judoka95 go to hell

  • @ContinentalPatriot

I want a communist America, not the USSR. I am a communist, and I am proud of it.

  • @FuchsiaFF00FF Communist is EVIL!!!! DIE COMMUNISM!!!!

  • горбачёв сука

  • @ultramanII u dont know how poor we are, how corrupted our nation is. I maybe dont know bout politics but smart enough to see what our nation is going through

  • А тебе, Миша, от всего моего сердце - гори в аду, сука, на пару с Борей который тебя ждёт уже там!

  • What? Death of the Motherland? FU! The Motherland is Russia and Russia will never give up!

  • @RusFanatic Russia without the USSR is what it is today - a shithole for oligarchs and their slaves.

  • @michaelwuzthere you are 37 yars old and you talk shit like that? Cool story, bro.

  • @RusFanatic I find it ironic that someone with soviet symbolism as a photo would argue that Russia is any better off without the USSR.

  • @RusFanatic But then again, you're probably just some kid who enjoys violent video games portraying Russians as frightening death machines.

  • "Я прекращаю свою деятельность на посту президента СССР"

Лучше бы ты свою жизнедеятельность прекратил, лет за 8 до этого, гнида пятнистая.

  • this is all of Yeltsin's fault!!! THAT GODDAMNED SOB RUSSIAN PIG IS NOW BEING ROASTED IN HELL!!!!

  • Gorbachev to burn in hell!

  • Горбачев -- иуда. Gorbachev - Judas.

  • its been 20 years now

  • you are all ignorant to say socialism is cool. i'm living in socialism country, u can't say anything against the party, the ruler. if u said, u would be in jail in no time. have to be very brave to say this aloud. so stop think they are good, u are lucky not to be there

  • @kutebabeboy Are lifes in Vietnam that bad? I thought your country is pretty westernized and mordernized now after seeing some photos.

It seems the lack of freedom of speech is a common disease that many socialist nations share, but I'm sure it's not part of the communist ideology.

  • @kutebabeboy

That's not socialism, that's totalitarianism. Socialism is an economic ideology, not a political one.

  • @Zehcnas89 Communism is the political ideology that goes hand in hand with socialism. Communism can't exist without socialism. But socialism CAN exist without communism.

  • I bet all u "comrades" who miss USSR r fans of walls and just only one brand of vodka.

  • Fuck the traitors

  • revive the USSR comrades

  • the ussr is gone. but RUSSIA is the motherland

  • @SOILDEROFGOD Nope =.=

  • It's a pity that revolting flag's lowering coundn't have heralded something demorcratic.

  • A sad day for the world.

  • fuck usa

  • fucking usa!!!!

  • i'm crying :'(

  • Great piece of history thank you! Drivojulianrobotnik

  • Did he died?

  • The Motherland isn't dead

    Denmark

  • @bassmaster1231 oh? And what's so better about everywhere else outside of Russia?

In many European Including me own England, nations freedom is limited to that of placement stature. Plus from what I here on the BBC the president of America is compared to that of communist, irony? Plus take the New York "occupy Wall street" protest. They are being arrested, maced, beaten, and remove from their protest grounds. So what nation truly has freedom and order?

  • this is the best video I have ever seen Go U.S.A.!!!!

  • @bassmaster1231 WORST VIDEO EVER!

  • That music.... marks the end of the world's GREATEST countries.

  • The flag shall rise once again. Only this time there are 5 stars added on it.....

  • Thanks to you,Lord JESUS CHRIST,the true Lord of History, by the end of the magestic nightmare called USSR! (...in memory and remembering of those soldiers and innocent people of Portugal that died in Africa defending Portuguese territories of Angola,Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau from the terrorism aided by USSR. In memory of the tears and wrecked lives of all portuguese mothers that lose their young sons fighting so far way by his fatherland Portugal,an huge country from Minho until East Timor)

  • @GC7885 LOL, thanks to the USSR for helping Angolans and the others defend themselves against portuguese conquerers. The portugueses who died there were fighting an unfair war. Deal with it.

  • Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,

Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.

O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,

To Communism's triumph lead us on!

i do hope our Great Soviet Motherland returns :(

  • @fyx13579 Know one was free in the USSR

  • i took my hat of and shed a tear for all that Mother Russia fought to preserver before her untimely death....

Sing to the Motherland, home of the free,

Bulwark of peoples in brotherhood strong.

O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people,

To Communism's triumph lead us on!

  • Lol for some reason i knew all of you commies were going to vote negative at my last comment -w-

Tolerance? In communism? I don't think so.

  • @RyoNeko48 nigger

  • Fuck u Gaybachov cod sucking American fucker lover i hate u Gaybachov some day some one who worked for the USSR will kick ur ass

  • It is extremely unlikely, nearly impossible to see the soviet union again. What a loss... Now the bank power rules over the whole world undisturbed.

  • RISE RISE RISE!!!

  • It isn't coming back, nobody wants Ladas, nobody wants badly-constructed buildings,, nobody wants long lines to buy bread. The Soviet Union was terrible, Russia still has problems because of the Soviet Union and will have problems for many years.

If you think the Soviet Union was cool, you are a retard.

  • @bulgakov26 You don't see the bigger picture, do you? With the dead of soviet union, communism died and capitalism won. An development started 150 years ago by Karl Marx ended now and turned the world back in the age of exploitment and feudalism. 1% rich families own 60% of earths wealth. Now the bourgeoisie can do ANYTHING. Steal oil in middle east, declare war on every country. Nobody protects the world from them. Nobody can stop them now!

  • @RedUnity

It was no better under communism - 1% of the political Elite of the Soviet Union had all the wealth, the People had almost nothing. At least under capitalism the People have something.

Nobody could stop the KOMSOMOL, nobody could the KGB, they stole and murdered and the USSR invaded other countries for resources.

The only difference is that under capitalism, the People have some wealth and some chances for happiness. Und the Soviet Union the people had starvation.

    You're ignorant.

  • @bulgakov26 Ha, do you think the people of russia live better today? Today there is more corruption, poverty, un-happyness than ever in the soviet union. Now some damn oligarchs rule the country.

USSR was a symbol that communism defeated fashism. Now, this symbol is worthless. Now all the blood spilled in order to kill Hitler (25 million) is worthless. Today russia is full of neo-nazi and racists. In Soviet union there was no racism.

  • @RedUnity

I live here in RUssia now, I don't see any bread queues, I don't see people freezing in the strets waiting for a potato to make soup for a family of five.

I hope to God you get sent to a place like the USSR. Before you starved, you'd have no computer, no internet to talk nonsense online. You'd understand what a horrible terrible place it was and then you would die young. You are a silly little child. Stop writing, start learning about how the world really is.

  • @bulgakov26 How old are you? I would only believe someone who is at least 40+ . Someone who experienced both: SU and RF. Thank you that you wish I would starve to death, that's very humane of you.

A russia ruled by Mafia and Oligarchs is sooo much better than a Soviet Union. C'mon you can't be serious.

  • @RedUnity Did you seeboth USSR and RF? Did you stand on Sennaya Ploshad in winter 1986 waiting for bread in -26 degrees?

I didn't say I wished you to starve. I said I wished you would live in the Soviet Union. There millions starved. Probably you would too but it's what you want.

When you think of the USSR you hear loud music, see bright colours and tanks. You don't see the unhappiness, the hopelessness, the oppression, the hunger.

There was Mafia and Oligarchs in USSR. Just different names

  • @bulgakov26 I often wonder why pro-communism people dont notice how happy and relieved the Russian citizens were when they were freed from the chains of oppression. I defy anyone to give me an example of a succesful communist society where EVERY citizen is happy, well-fed and free to speak his or her mind even if it is againts the goverment. I mean TRUE communism that does not rely on any form of capitalism and can sustain itself. I dont think it exists. bulgakov26, congratulations comrade.

  • @kinenai Very true, but give me an example of a successful capitalist society where every citizen is happy, the market doesn't collapse, and the government doesn't abuse it's power. GOVERNMENT DOESN'T WORK. All governments are systems based on infinite growth and infinite resources, these things simply do not exist, we will see the fall of every major world government in the next century, it's already happening.

  • @bulgakov26

"I didn't say I wished you to starve. I said I wished you would live in the Soviet Union"

    - It was capies who forced USSR into this shit.

"You don't see the unhappiness, the hopelessness, the oppression, the hunger"

    - But today we live better? In USSR there was no hunger. You stayed for vodka in -26 degrees.

"There was Mafia and Oligarchs in USSR. Just different names"

    - The result of Perestroyka. Its obvious.

  • @bulgakov26 Everything that you said here about 1% of the elite having the wealth, the KGB thing, all this, is exactly the same in the United States. This wasn't what Lennin wanted, nor, do I think, some of the founding fathers of the US. We don't have it better here in the US.This isn't a superior system. Maybe you're lucky, and are a "have" in the American Society. I still see that you are somewhat unaware of how very very similar the CCCP and the USA are/were.

  • @bulgakov26 At least people had badly constructed buildings. Here in the good old USA you get to live in your car or under a bridge. Seriously, you are whacked out. You look at things and don't even consider what they mean. Yes, they had shitty buildings in the USSR. They cared enough about even the poorest people to attempt to care for them.

  • The Sovie flag along with a great nation that many men fought and died with will not go down so easy, Soviet Russia WILL RISE AGAIN. TO THE MOTHERLAND!,URAAA!!!

copy and past to as many videos as possible

  • @vnicvnck Sure, that you are right. Уверена, что Вы правы.

  • @vnicvnck who cares if they rise again it makes no diffrence

  • @vnicvnck A drink to you and the renewing of the Soviets.

  • The Saddest Moment on the History.

  • Let's say that one motherfucking state was replaced with a slightly smaller motherfucking state.

  • Gorbachev/Yeltsin were fuckin' American KISS-ASSES!! Traitorous pricks!

  • so sad..

  • death of the motherland? the motherland was there before communism, it had numerous empiresbefore the USSR, it wasnt the death just the beginning of the new empire )))

  • Gorbachev had no choice but to reform.. Brenev and Stalin had trashed the U.S,S,R

  • @youpon1000 wrong Stalin created the Soviet Empire

  • the death of an empire...

  • Tragic..... absoultely tragic...

See the poverty and corruption that imsumes at the expense Eastern Europe.

The Soviets had morality that many inethical Americans (not generlizing) lack.

  • it will rise again!!!

  • @RyoNeko48

So McDonalds, which destroys the rainforest for profit, is communistic?

So the childslaves in Chian who work for 1$ a month for capitalistic companies are communistic?

Was the enslavement of black people for profit communistic?

Is the war in Iraq and Afghanistan for profit: oil, communistic?

My good Sir, you can't be THAT stupid!

  • @Cryptnox dont forget about taking the land away from the native americans by force and denying blacks and other minorities equal rights! that was capitalism, not communism!

  • @Cryptnox my good sir ... you have it all wrong the iraq and the afghan war was fo the wellfare and safty of the united states of america

  • @RyoNeko48 The cancer of the world are the people with you.

  • Wie kann mann nur so dumm sein und die mächtigste und tollste union aufzulösen?da sfrag ich mich.

  • worst 45 seconds of my life

  • I can only hope communism falls in Cuba so i can once again live a life of peace and prosperity.

  • I wonder are the russian people today happy with what happened in 1989-1991? Because they let Gorbchev and Yeltsin and the other parasites to destroy CCCP and to restore capitalism. Are they happy that they traded a society that offered the best education in the world, a good health system , jobs for everyone for a society full of unemploynment, AIDS , drugs, prostitution and parasites like abramovich? So the universities and the hospitals worth less than the McDonalds?

  • Why isn't there a hammer and sickle on the flag? Or am I blind?

  • @YOUSUCK242 officially, the flag of the USSR is only one sided, meaning only the front shows the hammer and sickle, while the back is just red.

  • Yeltsin was one of the giants of stupidity in all the hystory. He was a drunk disaster.

  • the worst day of all history without any doubt... communism will rise again my brothers.

  • Yeltsin took control violently he brought tanks into Moscow and when he got to power he was a terrible leader and fucked up Russia's economy which thankfully Putin solved but Yeltsin did not give the USSR a chance to reform and solve its economic crisis he was too impatient and also Yeltsin was planning to ban all communist partys which is unacceptable and also destroyed the Russian White House which killed many people Yeltsin's approval rating were as low as 2% when he left office

    FUCK YELTSIN

  • The Soviet flag will rise again.

  • @Jack1of1Blades yes, it will rise right up your ass!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MadDantist Yes

  • @StealthDefender1 It may exist in the future vote CPRF.

  • thanks alot reagan and yeltsin!!!!

  • communism will be stronger if the ussr still exists duh

  • please post the translation of the speach on the info!

  • :(

  • Sad momment in history.

  • предатель/ Traitor

  • I was -4 years old.

  • What is this song called?

  • Gorbachev's reforms were fast but he had no idea that it would lead to collapse of USSR, when he noticed his reforms was a bit fast he struggled to save USSR. most of the blame lies on yeltsin. He was the key factor in collapse of the USSR. But we should not forget that some of blame lies in Brezhnev as well. Industrial decline was his fault and if he continued the reforms which took place in Khrushchev era, he could have secured the USSR position in the world.

Gorbachev isn't only to blame. :)

  • can i has subtitles?

  • @brettsworld99 Compatriots! Сitizens! Owing to a current situation with formation of the Commonwealth of Independent States I stop the activity on a post of the President of the USSR.

    Sorry for my English.

I hate him for these words...

  • Wow the death of the Motherland fuck you dude, and this is from an American, you still have your land!!!! Just because the USSR was destroyed doesn't mean the Motherland isn't, like just because socialism is here doesn't mean I don't wake up in another country, I still wake up in the America, just like you wake up in the same place.

  • why some people want this oppressive regime to come back ?

  • @Davispa54 Because what came after that was a hundred times worse. Choosing lesser evil...

  • @DivineInterceptor The lesser evil that slaughtered 50 million people. Good call!

  • @SCE2AUX I presume you know Russia better than the Russians themselves.

  • @DivineInterceptor The Germans apparently haven't learned a damned thing from WWII, so I'm not surprised that the Russians haven't learned shit from the Cold War.

But don't you think it's interesting that the other fourteen former Soviet republics are doing much better?

  • @SCE2AUX "But don't you think it's interesting that the other fourteen former Soviet republics are doing much better?" is a far-fetched statement. Elaborate, please.

As for the Cold War, it showed extreme inefficiency of a centrally-planned economy which was the cornerstone of all other Soviet economic and political hardships. The state was pumping enormous amounts of resources into defence industry while cutting corners on pretty much everything else.

What exactly have Russians not learned?

  • The flag will rise at the beginning of a new era with the end (this flag) being hoisted over the last remnant. The end will create a new begining.

  • Good riddance!

  • Don't worry comades. Capitalism is failing and soon the Socialist world republic will rise.

  • @GananoqueFilms You mean "Rest in Piss" USSR, don't you?

  • still gives me goosebumps the music to accompany the end of the Cold War

  • @StealthDefender1 If you find that, I would be REALLY happy if u share it with me. It should be really historic. the New York Times has only one fuzzy photo of the even (it was at midnight, remember)

  • FUCK YOU YELTSIN MOTHERFUCKER AND TO GORBACHEV: you are a puppet to the West, just how Medvedev is a puppet to Putin. Such a shameful event in world history.

  • @HandE2Go How was it possible for the worlds first workers state to be destroyed in such a fashion? I remain confused as to why the Red Army did not step in for real. They just paraded their tanks by the order of the KGB.

The Military should had arrested Yeltsin, instead of Gorbachev. Yeltsin was the real immediate danger.

Could not imagine his face being captured by Spetznaz in the morning.

  • @drivojulianrobotnik You guys are dimwitted. Only people of the Russian SFRS lived good. For example Lithuanian SSR lived in SHIT! USSR screwed up our economy, before soviet occupation Lithuanians had almost same economy as US, todays bullshit in Lithuania is Post-Soviet consequences

  • @HandE2Go Yes, STALIN was soooo much better in kicking the behind of the people, killing 20 million of them. also, he was so much better making deals with Hitler..... Great history those damn Communists had. if it was not for them, Russia today would be like Germany or France, an economic and democratic powerhouse. Instead, 70 years was wasted and lost, plus tens of millions of people. So, Yeltsin and Gorbachev who freed the people get all the abuse from you, who i am sure, love Stalin

  • @hotboyclarence yeah as if Russia is doing any better now. Sure, there's a great deal of freedoms the Russians have got back after 1991, but at the sacrifice of Russia's progress. What do they do now? NOTHING. They hope that their oil will save them from doom. The poor people in Russia receive absolutely no help from the government since it's "democratic." Stalin is a horrible example of a communist; maybe if you read a book, you'd realize that communism is TRUE democracy, where workers rule

  • @HandE2Go Russia is still in mess because it is still being run by the Communists. Who do you think Putin is? The former KGB agent, or other dictators like Lukashenka in Belarus.

Countries like Poland, Czech Rep., Estonia, Slovenia or Hungary that REALLY got rid of the Communists, have done fantastically in 20 years. Russia is still run by the same bloody Commies as before, except now they call themselves "democrats."

And you think Communism is real democracy? Ok, name 1 country that is both

  • this fills me with anger i have never experiensed!!!!

  • what is the music at the end...? can anyone tell me about it?... thanks

  • what is the music at the end?... can anyone tell me about it...thanks

  • This to me is the saddest scene of the 20th Century

  • Hold on. Its like something you waited so many years to happen, but when it comes, you still are not believing you eyes and the shock factor is through the roof. could you imagine what it would've been like to singlehandedly take down an empire with just a simple gesture as a flag being lowered. the immense thing you do to take down 74 years of an empire that we feared most of our lives if you're a Baby Boomer

  • Hold on. Its like something you waited so many years to happen, but when it comes, you still are not believing you eyes and the shock factor is through the roof

  • Gorbachev is a truly great politician who just wanted to take the best of the system, but the bunch of traitors and corrupted idiots took over the great empire, Yeltsin is the first criminal. What did they do? they brought about pain and misery... tragedy

  • Gorbachev is a truly great politician who just wanted to take the best of the system, but the bunch of traitors and corrupted idiots took over the great empire, Yeltsin is the first criminal and followed by as well. What did they do? they brought about pain and misery... tragedy

  • Gorbachev should have made his resignation speech five years earlier and been confined to house arrest. The USSR had problems, but instead of trying to fix them, he broke up a mighty country and caused it to endure two decades of economic hardship.

  • @GananoqueFilms Yes, for sure, "free" of hunger (except at all times), particularly in the prison camps in Siberia where 20 million workers died in the "workers paradise". Rest in Shame, USSR--and all you stupid young Commies who are too dense to even ask your parents generation to tell you how much "fun" it was under the communists. In fact, if you really are interested, North Korea and Cuba still have it. Feel free to go and stay there to become "stateless" and "eat" well (dirt, usually)

  • @StealthDefender1 No, he is referring to those who freed him so that he can write here on the Youtube without ending up in a labor camp in Siberia. Those are the "traitors" he is referring to....

  • United forever in friendship and labor, our mighty republics will forever endure.

  • @skip8619 hahahaha..... it sure did. Hitler thought his "reich" would last a 1000 years, and the Bolsheviks thought they "endure forever". Now they all are in the dustbin of history as bad nightmares, while PEOPLE always triumph over their oppressors...

  • well, it's sad that so many people were building such a big pile of shit for 70 years. behind bright posters and loud slogans.

  • Nothing is forever. Babylonia falled, Roman Imperium, Persian Imperium, Ottoman Imperium, Russian Imperium, British Imperium, Soviet Union... all these powerful countries falled. And today's countries will fall too (sometime).

  • @mecidlo now whos next USA?

  • @RageXII I think so

  • @mecidlo USA is on the verge of it.

  • @StealthDefender1 Collapse of the Soviet Union 1991, 9:13 on Youtube.
