This is a multi-track recording. If you listen closely, there are four acoustic guitars. One is mimicking the organ riff on the dead right and another doing the same on the left. I played the D minor and A minor among other chords to make it sound fuller. The last acoustic guitar is immitating the vocal harmonies.

Yes, I did! It's just as energetic/dark as the live performances. I loved the instrumental "3 birds" and Allison and Jack's screaming competition in "Rocking Horse."
At first, i felt bad cause I was robbing myself of opening the record, actually playing it, and experiencing it for the first time within my room. But, I figured since the release date was pushed back and my vinyl won''t get to my dor the day of the release, I won't kill me.
i loved it i think my favorite was 60 feet tall and rocking horse. I want the record more than the CD but i might just order them at the same time i think downloads are a pain. did you hear about the volt that third man records has?
I bought this album yesterday. It's very hard to describe this album. Dark, Crunchy, Electric Funk is the best way to put it. I decided to get the actual CD because I like to support the bands that deserve the credit. 3 birds is one of the best tracks on the album, but they're really all great. This is one of the albums where you just have to buy the whole thing to get the true experience.
How do you keep hitting the same d minor wit just one guitar?

I can tell you that the intro. riff is on the A string, using frets 5-3-5 (with the D minor chord continuosly struck).
The next riff is on the low E string using frets 5-4-3-1.
The second to last riff is played on A string, using frets 6-3-6-3-9-8.
The very last riff is still on the A string, using frets 3-5-3(hammmer technique) - 1-0.

It is still on. I do not understand why they put it on.
