Isn't this being... anti-hipster? I thought they didn't want to be known or associated with anything commercial and mainstream? Or is this just a case of marketers and PR agents completely not understanding the people they are marketing to (In other words, business as usual)? Because surely, the people in this ad aren't hipsters, they're paid actors dressing as hipsters.

Seriously why do people make fun of hipsters. Because they are different? Emo's , Goths , Metal Heads, Preps , Nerds , Geeks....these are all just labels. A person doesn't just choose to become one of these (except posers :P) its what fits them. It's a form of expression. A person needs to be themselves. They may or MAY NOT fall into one of the listed groups. Who gives a fuck? Live and let live.

@buroos Just because the person appears to be a hipster doesn't mean they are rich or all that other stuff you said, that doesn't mean that's what every single hipster acts like. Every single person is different on this planet. People have a right to be who ever they want to be, they aren't just going to change themselves because your annoyed. An extermination is completely and totally necessary. They need to go. I'm also in Bensonhurst, grew up by Canarsie, & have the unfortunate luck of working in by Williamsburg surrounded by these assholes every day. I laugh at them all the time with their dressing alike, looking alike (all the girls are wearing $125 Hunter rain boots) listen to the same shitty music & now are becoming mainstream. What makes it even funnier is the biggest hipsters are always the ones in denial about it. I shove them on the L trains now.

There's a tendency to think that they're more cultured or more educated because they like non "mainstream" things. And anyone who thinks they are better than others deserves to be mocked.
