Any Christian "religion" that I am aware of here in the US doesn't frown on a person's right to refuse medical treatment, and doesn't deem it as a suicide if you do.
The Bible does talk about suicide. Matthew 27:5 "Then Judas threw the silver coins down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself." This is an unnatural, self-inflicted death=Suicide. Unlike Leukemia, regardless of treatment. If you have cancer and the meds don't work can the Dr. be charged with murder? NO!!!
Also, organs for organ transplants come out of living humans, they are not taken after the people die. Therefore the donor is killed by the removal of the organ rather than being allowed to die naturally. Keep that in mind before you choose to become an organ donor.
@juggernette397 your statement is not evidence based. I'm a medical student. After death the tissue of your organ is still living therefore you can still transplant a healthy organ after donor's death. I do admit that some countries that lack of independent medical ethic surveillance group may take organs from living individual but it's not happening in most places where you have internet access.
Thou shall not kill. This includes yourself. Your life was given by God and it is his. In this case, not receiving treatment would lead to a natural though early death. But God also gave intelligence to the doctors that can save her life so it wonderful she found the courage to undergo the treatment and trust in what God may have for her in her life. God Bless.

Ugh... it is not euthansia to refuse treatment. And yes, suicide is taught as wrong in the Bible - ever heard of Judas Iscariot?
