about the comments above, She's a musical actress, that means exaggeration is a part of her career. It might be "wierd" but the music alone is enough to gnaw at your bones, at least for me. Her voice is beyond beautiful, it's angelic.

about the comments above, She's a musical actress, that means exaggeration is a part of her career. It might be "wierd" but the music alone is enough to gnaw at your bones, at least for me. Her voice is beyond beautiful, it's angelic.

She's acting. Singers like Brightman don't move much on stage, so they exaggerate their expressions and movements so people in the audience have something to watch. It looks "weird" on camera.

I love Sarah Brightman. And the things that have been mentioned as negatives here are actually the things that I find very appealing about her. I love her expressions and the odd way that she moves while she sings. It makes her stand out to me.

People, you seem not to understand. She fits the video just fine. Nothing is real at the Scarborough Fair. It is the carnival of deceased love. It is about a woman crying out for the love of her life. Legend had it, she was cold to all but him, and would not show any emotion until he appeared to her. So before you call something weird, you might want to review the aesthetics behind it.

@phoenixrising0901 That might be the case, if she sang like a normal human being at her other performances. She's always making these crazy faces, and that'd be ok if she had an amazing voice. But no. She has an average voice. The first time I watched this, "crazy snake lady" came to mind. o.o
but if people like her music, I guess that is all that maters. ^^
