i'm a pistons fan, and in my 9 years of watching the nba, the 2008 celtics team was the best i've seen since i started watching. they had EVERYTHING - defense, shooting, passing, big men, a good bench, good coaching. it sucked to lose to them, but they had a very impressive team.

The celtics won with the big 3 and now Miami has the same chance 2. of course i want the celtics to beat the heat but if they dont i realize thats not as bad as i thought in the beginning of the year. i'm a pistons fan, and in my 9 years of watching the nba, the 2008 celtics team was the best i've seen since i started watching. they had EVERYTHING - defense, shooting, passing, big men, a good bench, good coaching. it sucked to lose to them, but they had a very impressive team.

watchin this again after witnessing it on tv got me thinkin. The celtics won with the big 3 and now Miami has the same chance 2. of course i want the celtics to beat the heat but if they dont i realize thats not as bad as i thought in the beginning of the year. This series was poorly officiated and it favored the Celtics. Not to say we would have won. But the way they are refreeing these finals are ridulous. Even last year when we won, they should just let them play. Now with all our "changes" we were still able to win two games, but did Phil make excuses after we lost like Doc Rivers did? No! Finals 08 the refs gave you games 1,2 and 6. And We gave game 6 up. Yes I understand the game of basketball, it's your dumb ass that doesn't. Making excuses, when you had a 13 point lead with 7 mins to go. In that game, it was half court game after the 1st 5 minutes, and you had the lead though out the game because we missed a lot of shots. We didn't beat you inside, we beat you outside. In that game it was your offensive that kept you from getting blown out. Had we would have made half the shots we missed game 7 would have been like Game 6!

They are the champions until they are knocked out, but that hasn't happened for the past two years. Celtics couldn't get into the finals in '09 and got knocked out from the Lakers last year.
