I buy this turntables 3 days ago but on I have the needles of my old turntables with belt drive is not good! In fact the sound is bad and go distortion and in the rane serato progam the turntable spin Even if the turntable is stopped...Can i change the needles?? I want buy an ortofon Q,bert
@aelproductions, same. I was gonna get used tt1625s but they aint as good as these when it comes to scratching. Im just gona use virtual dj, cant bother finding crates of records just yet..
Thats why we have Serato, virtual vinyl, traktor and some other less viable software with interface. So that you dont have to lug crates around. I dont knock any DJ but I think playing music without proper instruments takes all the fun out of it.
im a beginner DJ , im goin from using Pioneer CDJ100's to turntables w/ serato. i am looking at various turntables, i dont know much about them. i DJ parties, so i needa go setup.and i am highly interested in trying to scratch. Will the tt200's w/ serato be okay for me? i was goin for technics but i cant afford it lol. and ps) very nice scratch sesshh. love jump on it lol.
tt200''s will work fine, my tt200's have served me very well. I'd also look into the Gemini tt-04 turntable. If you can find them, they're great for the price! Also, something to thnk about would be to buy some used decks off of ebay or craigslist. I got some european technics off of craigslist for a really good price!
@djdmc24 : Its interesting to me, I bought turntables MOSTLY cause I NEEDED to know how to scratch...... Scractchin beat jugglin... got to do that. you should watch DJ Qbert videos.... great great usefull vids.....
you have to buy the innofader to do it. I'd check to make sure that you can do it by looking at the product website. They have a list of compatible mixers.
is this the tables that comes with numark battle pack? i heard they're bad for scratching, are they too bad? i'm a begginer and im thinking about bying it
no, they're tt200's, the ones you're talking about are 1625's. Mine work for me right now. They don't have the most torque of anything, but I'm still able to do a lot with them. I put magic carpets on them for scratching and they work for me right now. So, for starting out I think they're great. Also, the Gemini tt04's are good decks for the price.
Yeah, if you have good equipment it can make things work a lot better. You don't always need to buy the absolute top of the line stuff, but it helps, for instance, to have a mixer that you can adjust the CF Slope on if you want to scratch. It also helps to have a turntable w/ enough torque to handle scratching. My best advice for starting out is to do a lot of research before you buy and find the best bang for your buck products and go from there. Let me know if you have any other questions!
TT200's and a DXM06 then mod your fader to innofader thats the ultimate setup battle/club combination, technics turntables are so common already not unique anymore so stick to numark and your cool
yeah, if you buy the corresponding hardware that works with the software. For instance, I use Torq, but I also use the torq connective and route my turntables through that in order to use my turntables with the software.
I don't really know a lot about the mixers, but the decks would cost a little less than that price, so, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. Good luck to you, I hope it goes well!
the tt200 has 300 euros and the mixer has 315... i live in greece/ athens...very nice turntable..but please let me know where can i find nice songs on vinyl.. thank you.
The "Ugly Duckling" records are always good for general hip hop stuff to scratch to, it just takes a lot of looking until you find something you like.
ive got a tt200, its far better than my sony dj 9000's that i had. come check my vids. im yet to do a few vids of my tt's because you-tube wont do quick capture for some reason
def great for the price, if you have the means, I'd jump for a ttx, but hey, they work great for starting out, and I love 'em.... I'm definitely keeping mine for a while until I can afford ttx's
just for an extra input... when I do gigs, I'll have the two turntables hooked up, and my computer hooked up to the third input. I'm trying to work my way towards digital, either with a CD turntable or Torq
thanks man yo dat is tight i'm a dj too im only 13 years old been doing this sense 11 years old i'm been waitin to get a dxm09 well actually a dxm06 mixer Lucky!!

i am about to get into djing and i only have one question, what is the crossfader's function with the scratching?
BassBeatsProductions 3 years ago
a crossfader cuts up the sound, the motion of the record and cutting up the sound with the crossfader is what makes the different scratch sounds.

thanks. thats gonna help me alot
