my buddy who works for Zenoscope loves blue-line. I havent really taken to blue line and to be honest I just started using a mechanical pencil because its more comfortable. I love the traditional steadler pencils though if I have a lot of time on my hands and I also favor the heavier leads for impact. I usually go from and HB to 2B. Hard to prevent smudging but the pages pop out at you.
this is good. ive been working on my own comic for a month now and i hope to publish it on here, or turn it in to a company if they enjoy it enough. its fun to go to school and all the kids ask if they can see what ive added, lol there response is always how badass it is. it goes along sorta with the movie spirit with tons of twist. but an easy to follow story the readers enjoy.
i want to get into the comic book industry but i have to work on my backgrounds. i have the people pretty much down and in a style that is distinctive but my backgrounds at the moment are pretty much trash.

all you need for good looking background is basic perspective understanding, and simple squares in perspective turns into a city.
