@Hexl702 I would say first degree. By defenition, first degree murder is planned and deliberate, as opposed to random, spur of the moment murder. Interestingly, if a person stabs a pregnant woman and kills her and the baby, it can be prosecuted as double homicide. Why? Because the baby was assumed to be wanted. But if a baby is not wanted by the mother, we call it tissue, and we allow her to kill it herself. The inconsistency is obvious.

Videos are edited, sped up considerably, with the light dimmed, and zoomed in focus, so everything looks eerie and inhuman. I think more churches need to advertise that they will help, becaus there are many people with good hearts who would love to adopt and save a baby. You know, after Plato wrote The Republic (which talks about creating a perfect society and getting rid of 'less than perfect' people), the Romans would leave their sick or deformed babies in an alley to die. It was Christians who would go in after and rescue them and raise the unwanted babies.

ALso, there are some (but not many) counseling centers for women, that REALLY talk about options such as adoption, or give support to women who need counseling or who end up keeping their babies. There is not such a thing as "the right to kill". In every society law protects its citizens with "the right to protect life" and punishes those who trasgress it. And yet, those in favor of abortion talk about "rights". No, a mother, or a father, or a doctor don't have the right to take away someones life, even if that life is still developing. @Hexl702 I would say first degree. By defenition, first degree murder is planned and deliberate, as opposed to random, spur of the moment murder. Interestingly, if a person stabs a pregnant woman and kills her and the baby, it can be prosecuted as double homicide. Why? Because the baby was assumed to be wanted. But if a baby is not wanted by the mother, we call it tissue, and we allow her to kill it herself. The inconsistency is obvious.

I mean, pour water in your milk to make it last poor, canned food poor, living off the mercy of other people poor. I was homeschooled, traped in a house all day with a depressed and emotionally abusive mother. Can I tell you, I am thankful every day for my life. I'm so glad to be alive. I am now an adult who is healed from the pain becuase of forgiveness.

Videos are edited, sped up considerably, with the light dimmed, and zoomed in focus, so everything looks eerie and inhuman. I think more churches need to advertise that they will help, becaus there are many people with good hearts who would love to adopt and save a baby. You know, after Plato wrote The Republic (which talks about creating a perfect society and getting rid of 'less than perfect' people), the Romans would leave their sick or deformed babies in an alley to die. It was Christians who would go in after and rescue them and raise the unwanted babies.

ALso, there are some (but not many) counseling centers for women, that REALLY talk about options such as adoption, or give support to women who need counseling or who end up keeping their babies. I know they exist, some are called "a woman's friend". If only they could get the millions of government funding that goes to planned parenthood right now...

He's admirably intelligent and open-minded. He knows that outlawing such a medical procedure would cause so much more damage and pain and loss. Why should one speak or choose what's right for a woman, it's an individual choice based on personal beliefs, circumstances.. There are bigger issues, like 1 in 4 U.S. living in poverty, that make fighting for more unwanted kids to be born look like a joke.

No one, even a pro-choice supporter uses the words or sends the message "its allright to kill babies" except you. Many of these people like me do not like like abortion, they just want this option for women to be there, if they need it. Why do people who have never faced conflicting pregnancies are the ones most eager to give their opinions? Btw no judgement on you..... a healthy discussion is always appreciable. @2010mousehunt He's enough of a man to realize there are millions of people with differing opinions and situations, and he respects a woman's rights enough to realize it would be stupid and blind and harmful to revoke those rights. There are enough issues to struggle with, adding more unwanted kids to society causes more problems. A woman desperate enough to terminate her pregnancy may not be the best mother. Forcing people into motherhood won't prevent them from harming their own kids.

Here is the solution to abortion if we take out religious ideologies:
All students can have free access to condoms, birth control pills, morning after pills and safe sex educations. Then ban abortion unless in case of rape/incest.

@ClaireLe you forgot to include contraceptive failure, risk to mother's life, developmental malformations of child, life-threatening genetic disorders, later changes in family situation (eg. divorce, couple breaking up, father not ready to take responsibility etc). But I am happy at least you tried to bridge the two sides and bring forth a solution...... really salute your attitude :)

@Candideye1 "Later changes in family situation" should not be a reason to abort an unborn because it is a selfish reason. It also shows a lack of responsibilities to oneself and others. Ex: A woman decided to abort because after she got pregnant she found out her husband cheated on her. 1) not the child fault. 2) having a child is a life changing decision, once you commit to it, you need to follow thru. "Do or do not ... there is no try"

@ClaireLe i agree to some extent claire..... but i think in this case the woman wouldnt want the child to be born into a broken family and let it be emotionally scarred for life, especially if she is considering a divorce. Anyway it totally depends on the situation.... some women would want to abort, some wouldnt. I have even seen many pro-choice women going to an abortion center and changing their mind at the last moment..... it depends on many things
