@NowSmile4TheCamera If you have a mac and are just getting started use imovie. If your willing to dive deeper into the editing you can get final cut express and then if your serious you can get final cut studio. These are my recommendations. I have editing with pc's on software ranging from sony vegas, adobe premier and windows movie maker and i dont like any of them.
As for our next video. It shouldnt be up for a while since the seasons not over and we are still filming.
@NowSmile4TheCamera As for your trip, make sure you have a 16gb sd card and unload it every night onto a comp so you never run out of space. Also have at least 2 batteries with you at all times, preferably 3. We actualy carry 4 these days so even on the coldest of days we dont run out. Thats the number one thing to always be on the look out for. (space and power) The filming will just happen on its own. Take your turns filming and dont stage anything. Let things run their course. Have fun.

absolutely love your video! it is one of the most entertaining videos i have seen. best soundtrack. editing is so perfect. gopro should use your video as an advertisement. proof is this: you inspired me to buy a gopro hd camera to create memories of our snowboarding trips. me and my friends live in florida and have been going snowboarding 1-2 times a year for 13 years. but bc of the pain of recording videos we don't have anything more than a few pics to show for it.
@gamerscoremoddinman doesnt matter what program you use. just put 100% into it and be patient about it. It will show if you put the time in. from what it sounds like you dont have much editing experience and my best advice is be patient and dont settle. Every single shot counts. Dont be scared to leave some out.
@Weazle2435 already in the works. we dont have as big of a budget this year so there isnt any west coast riding but the actual skill level in it will def be raised.

@esidarapmot youtube doesnt let me post links but eyeofmine has two different poles. we have used both and broke both lol we do like the silver one better though. its cheaper and more durable.
@esidarapmot well lets hope that its the same one i used last year. i ordered it last year and it had tilt and worked great until the spring broke on a fall. we then ordered the more expensive red one and the ball joint snapped in the cold quite quickly. I then got fed up and ordered 2 more sliver cheaper ones that havnt arrived yet. i guess ill find out when they come in. Mind you we use a backup system of attaching the gopro handlebar mount to the broken poles
this was an amazing video. so many parts i loved about it. just a bunch of friends having a great time. the bird coming up to ya on the lift. eating shit from behind the car in front of the people in their driveway. all in all, great video! thanks for posting for the world to see!
Extremely well edited! Music goes along with the action. I have a GoPro Hero also, and I can only dream of getting some clips as nice as all of these! Editing must have been a nightmare!!!! Great filming!!

@basso4735 720p at 60fps. I would have loved to shoot at 1080 but was always afraid that i would want to slow a shot down in post production so i just shot at 60fps to be safe.

How long does it take to get that good at snowboarding? I have always wanted to snowboard, but never really had the opportunity to. I've finally saved enough money with some friends and we are gonna spend 5-7 days in Colorado snowboarding for the first time. We're 21 now and none of us but 1 have snowboarded before. Do you think there is even a point in starting now? We'd like to make it a regular winter thing. Thanks!

@drumlleycult89 Also, what GoPro do you have. I see you have the hero, but what stuff with it? I was looking at buying one of those too. Just for fun.
@drumlleycult89 Your best bet is to get the hd hero helmet model. It comes with a good amount of mounts. From there you can buy the other mounts you might want to try seperately. Just dont get the 960 version because it doesnt shoot in 1080p or in more importantly 720p at 60 frames a second. This is very important for slow mo shots. Also check out the website eyeofmine for third party mounts.
thanks for the kind words. We have been going religiously every winter for the past 3 years. We had been going for about 4 1/2 years total but not really as often as we do now. We also didnt really start riding alot of park till the past 2 years. Being 21 is not to old to start at all. You still have at least 10 years left of prime riding if you stay in shape. You will have a blast in Colorado but it would be better if you could get some experience before you go out there.
@drumlleycult89 Yeah we will of course be going again this year. I just got my new board for the year. Never Summer Revolver. We wont be going to Colorado again this year due to cost but there will be many mini trips around the area and probably at least 1 or 2 to Vermont.
@btgmlk1 yeah i have heard some good things about bear creek. we just always end up at blue because we know what were getting and dont want to waste a day. Maybe we will make it a point to head out that way this year
