yes it is.. it plays DivX, has an integrated flash player, the CPU is a 533MHz ARM9 3D Accelerator, the PSP only has 333 mHz at his max. It's running a modern Linux kernel , and it supports SDHC cards up to 32GB (that's brand new technology)
It runs Roms in an emulation layer.. That's nextgen at it's best.

The music on Street Fighter is a little slow...must be emulator is not fully optimized yet considering Marvel VS Capcom ran full speed on the GP2X (of course I guess it was probably overclocked but it still didn't get even close to 300mhz when overclocked).
I think this really needs 4 buttons on the top for PSX emulation, although I'm not certain 600 Mhz is enough to do PSX emulation. It will be a challenge. Maybe with an optimized ARM compiler that takes better advantage of it's conditional execution instruction set it may be possible.
You can buy it now in China, but wait, and let them work any bugs out that might exist.
If you're an early adopter, you're a beta tester. Hardware and stability improves over time. It will be for general sale in the US and Europe in February.

Download an emulator, and then download some ROMs and then just plug in the USB cable and launch the emulator and load the game.
