I'm playing Tenchu 1 at the moment and this sequel seems to be a huge improvement on the original in the terms of graphics and gameplay. One thing always bugged me in the first one are the tank controls and how slow the ninjas are. This seems to have honed those issues. I better go and buy this game.
yeah, its a real pain in the ass to make each game work. It will be easier for you if you have at least quad-core cpu and 512 mb videocard, or you'll be forced to mess around with speedhacks, tons of plugins and settings to get decent fps. I have 1.8 hz dual-core and it runs like crap.
Oh, and another thing. Unfortunately, all ps2 Tenchu games are barely playable on pcsx2. Here you will find compatibility list of ps2 games: pcsx2-dot-net-slash-compat-dot-php.

if you have pc gamepad - cool. if you dont, you can play on the keyboard too (you will get used to).
