  • @rawux1228 Well, technically anything could always be better in the 3D world. I have 4 friends that work at dreamworks and two friends that work at Pixar and all of us are aware that even the greatest professionals can still improve on the art and science that is 3D development.

  • @10chadjordan01 Well, simply dividing a polygon up technically adds detail, so you can technically add an infinite amount more detail to any 3d scene.

  • Pretty good work, you might want to improve on the fish movement a little, they need a more fluid twist to their bodies.

  • That's papervision 3D... I saw the example. Unless you exported it with a script to put it into flash, and export it into a .swf and put it inside your website.

  • That's awesome man. I tried playing around with blender for a while but I just couldn't understand anything at all. Ended up giving up lol. But it's nice to see that people can achieve this with the software. Keep it up. Definitely one of the best blender work I've seen.

  • looking good mpan! If I might suggest a few things: Sharper Caustics, Normal maps, Coral, and if you can, godrays. Maybe some emit and caustics on the fish would be good to. but thats just my two cents.

  • Thanks for the suggestions. Caustics is luckily just a simple shader and can be easily tweaked. Normal maps will have a performance impact on an already fillrate dependent game, so that's why we are trying to avoid that.

    Coral will definitely make it in there, eventually.

    Godrays is still work in progress. This is a must for us, too!
