  • In our country, charities had started to collect LDPE bottle caps and pet bottles already. And has a lot of profit from cracked plastic-oil (they acquire diesel, gasoline and kerosene form it) - And grain-moblene plastic scrap prices had risen up to 1.5$per kilogram

  • This is Awesome! Recently I saw some pieces on shows like CNN and the journal with Joan Lunden on PBS that were talking about issues and solutions for industrial recycling. This kind of thing takes it to the next level. Of course it’s not as good as eliminating oil altogether but it will help get rid of some of the waste for now. Plus, it looks like the contraption that fueled the back to the future car.

  • so....we have machines that turn oil into plastic and now machines that turn plastic into oil. Why not stop making plastic?

  • Haha that's fricken awesome! also WHAT ABOUT USING SOLAR AND OR WIND ENERGY TO POWER LARGE MACHINES THAT MELT PLASTIC BACK INTO OIL? God only knows the energy input would be worth the outcome. It's better than plastic trash going straight into landfills or the ocean. Atleast with this machine, humanity has the chance to capitalize on pollution. It could actually promote recycling in way that has never been seen before.

  • from global prospective, this machine may look not so reasonable for use, but in our society, this may provide great turnpoint to astronomic bills for dust (garbage) removal services. A kind of logistic center and warehouses may cut off large piece of dustbin robbers cake.

  • Annie should Co-host.

  • Annie COME BACK!

  • only a tiny fraction of oil reserves is used to produce plastics, the rest is used to transform into carbon dioxide. This invention is pretty pointless, the real future is renewable energy

  • and i didn't even know that the earth needs saving? we find alternative resources if oil depletes

  • giraffe innards look like jello mixed with bubble gum

  • gemlarin does have a point, but what if we used nuclear power plants? Unlike how they sound they are potentially safe for the enviroment. Even if there is a negative potential energy we would still be reusing plastics into gas and whatnot.

  • I have a machine that turns shit into tornados.

  • You wouldn't need a machine to do this if you would just STOP MAKING BOTTLED WATER!!!

  • remember when this show used to be funny

  • What a lovely video to watch while eating dinner. thank u

  • The best videos were the ones from earth :)

  • Isn't plastic made of oil? What this solve? oil... to oil?

  • @cory8u He did address that, saying "turning plastic back into oil".

  • I saw a mistake, the 3:54 mark. He puts the "A Machine that turns plastic back into oil" on the bottom of the screen instead of the thing about muscles and nerves.
