I like this song, listened to it atleast a few dozen times sinc ei found it (after hearing paxton classics on youtube i came here). I never heard the original and unfrotuantely no one seems to have uploaded it. I'd love to hear the original and compare it, but this version is good in its own right!

@DebeoMorium You're verykind. I heard the original on BBC Radio2 Folk Programme some years ago.

I recorded it, jotted down the lyrics and stole the tune, sonce when I've been playing it out from time to time.

I don't have the original now, nor do I know where it comes from. The song is clearly Paxtonesque and I believe it was a new song when he played it on radio, so maybe it never got onto disc?
