@Marco33185 c'est Waters qui a décliné la proposition... pour des raisons non pas commerciales mais pour une conviction personnelle... peut etre fusse une erreur, mais je ne pense pas qu'il le regrette. en plus la version original est beaucoup plus malsaine que la musique des Floyd

Si Waters a fait ce choix je persiste à dire que c'est une erreur majeure dans sa carrière.

Maintenant, lorsque l'on connait l'égo surdimensionné de Waters on peut comprendre qu'il ait fait ça en provocation pour montrer qu'il était "au dessus" du Maitre Kubrick.

At last but not least avec le recul la version choisie par Kubrick est pile poil dans l'esprit du film. Encore un coup de GÉNIE!

@Marco33185 oui jsuis d'accord avec toi sur certain point, mais pas sur le fait que Waters aurait provoqué Kubrick pour montrer une quelconque supériorité. Pour moi, cest tout simplement le fait que Waters emprintait le meme chemin que celui de Barett ; il était dans son univers, tout comme l'expose The Wall.

@Marco33185 Pour moi, il était dans l'incapacité de réfléchir aux conséquences. Il voulait rester dans son monde, faire SA musique (plus les années ont passées, et plus il prenait en mains les compositions...)... et tout comme Barrett, il du se retirer.

I prefer Kubrick's final product over all of these "what ifs?" like 2001 set to Pink Floyd. Lord of the Rings was originally going to be done by the Beatles, and they wanted Kubrick to direct. But that didn't happen, and I'd rather it stay that way. I just think Kubrick's ultimate decision for the soundtrack works better with the film.

the pink floyd, actually they supposed to make the soundtrack for this movie, but stanley kubrick didn't like some of the song from atom heart mother...so the project was cancelled and kubrick choose the normal soundtrack....maybe is better..

Pink Floyd said that Atom Heart Mother Suite was meant for an epic movie. I think if they were to put this song in as the opening then it would've made one of the more iconic scenes in cinema.

Hmm, je crois que l'idée est génial. J'aime bien Pink Floyd, c'est innévitablement un groupe qui frappe psychologiquement. Sans aucun doute, la chançon est excellente. Mais je crois que cela aurait été une bonne idée de déplacer Atom heart mother ailleur dans le film. Parce qu'on ne sent pas l'intention du personnage au début avec cette chançon la. Mon point de vue.
