kris reminds me more of a wilco/elliott smith mesh, which is lovely and i'm glad he's doing it. his lyrics are nothing like connor. there are a few older songs where it was very close. their singing style is really close. but these songs are much more pop driven. listen past his BEAUTIFUL voice and feel the beat. it's so fun, i love this band now.

You DO sound like Bright Eyes, even the brass "finale" at the end of this song sounds like it was borrowed from Bright Eyes. The solid background colours also look like you were inspired by an iPod commercial.
