Hey Nick- I'm using Visual Studio 2010, and I was wondering if I needed to install php to use the php code that you're implementing. Would it work without installing php?
Hi, most of the videos dealing with sliders are too advanced for newbies. Take for instance myself, I don't know what folder to look in, nor do I know where to place it even if I was given code to create the slider. Being a newbie I have no knowledge of php, html, css etc. I do know how to upload a WP blog to my server via cpanel, that's as far as my expertise goes. You have a good video, but for a newbie most of the vids are too fast. Do you have a tutorial that's a step by step for beginners?
You are really great with your tutorials, however your title is misleading. I was looking for a tutorial on the jquery slider control and found out I was in the wrong place only after watching all 3 episodes... gah!!!
Such a slider is cool looking, but not dynamic. Also it does not apply to image libraries larger than lets say 10 photo's as the loading time will go up drasticly. You could have used Jquery to loadout each photo as it get's shown, or load 1 photo in advance of the others.
@EpicSoftworks i understand this but the point of this tutorial was to show how to create a simple slider and the various aspects and code that is involved in creating one
