Actually, this could be a little inefficient. Yes. it's space-saving, but it can be to 4x slower or even more with this design. The plant tries to randomly spawn a melon in a specific direction. Only one of these are able to actually make the melon spawn. Make a cross per plant instead

36 eggs are crazy? x) the new updates that allow the breeding of animals rocked this game... I got a chicken farm with about 70-80 chickens in it and they produce eggs... lets just say a lot :3 I keep collecting them until I fill an entire chest (takes about 2-3 minecraft days) then I run in and slaughter more than half of my chickens and throw the eggs for some more :P  good way to produce feathers for arrows :D

Add onto.your house and make the farm attached to the house, make a wheat farm, or make a brick chimney

there is a more effecient way simply plant the stalks so that they have 2 blocks of space instead of 1 and you will have melons out the wazoo
