I have a solution to this problem. Israel has really advanced weapons, why don't they use those weapons to deflect the rockets that Hamas launches into Israel on a regular basis.
It can't be that difficult, Israel already has a general idea of where the rockets are launched from (the south), so they can just use satellites and radars to monitor that area for rockets, and use anti-rocket missiles to shoot them down whenever they're launched. That way, Hamas can keep shooting but it never lands.

I have a solution to this problem. Israel has really advanced weapons, why don't they use those weapons to deflect the rockets that Hamas launches into Israel on a regular basis.
It can't be that difficult, Israel already has a general idea of where the rockets are launched from (the south), so they can just use satellites and radars to monitor that area for rockets, and use anti-rocket missiles to shoot them down whenever they're launched. That way, Hamas can keep shooting but it never lands.

That's easy to answer. It's because our media has to go through pro-Israel filters before we get to see any of it in the U.S. Even all foreign policy between the U.S. and Israel is private, when it is by law, suppose to be public.
Combine that with the fact that our nation is largely christian in terms of religion, and the way most christians view the state of Israel pretty much gives Israel a blank check in terms of both military and finances.

It's not enough to simply demand that Hamas cease it's rocket fire. You have to convince them that if they do, Israel's military strikes on Gaza will end, the blockade will be lifted, and Israel will return to the negotiating table under pressure to reach a settlement that compensates the Palestinians for the land they've lost, the persecution they've suffered, and provides them with a viable state. Otherwise what's in it for them? A return to their situation being ignored by everyone.
