  • You'd have to have the patience of a saint to do that job. Looks beautiful tho'.

  • @eyelashextensions

how long does it take for the full procedure. afterwards what do you maintain the lashes. Thanks for you help

  • wow i'd love to do that i think i have the patience to do that : ) what would i have to do to become one of these people that do this?????

  • can u apply mmascara andd stuff over them?

  • i've never seen it done this way meaning with the "stickers" hold the eyes closed. I think thats great probably makes it alot easier for the applicator.

  • i felt to relaxed just watching the video!

i cant wait to get my extentions :-)

they arent that expensive either! where im getting them from are only £12+!

  • This is very interesting - great to see how the procedure is actually done.

Just wondering (out of curiosity) - do you also do lash extensions for the bottom lashes as well and if so, what is the procedure for that?

  • Can you still put mascara on these?

  • what are the eyelashes made of?

  • If I can't see it coming - I'll relax after a while lol. The patience that technician must have - love the manicure tho lol

  • i would fail drastically if i had to give someone eyelash extensions.

  • You are correct in recognizing the amazing amount of dexterity and skill it takes to perform this service.

  • we need videos on how to do t his to ourselves. we all cannot afford $300 at a salon and then $150 every two weeks. show us how to do it on ourselves. thank you, great video

  • DO NOT attempt to apply this to yourself. If the cost for this type of extension is too pricey for your budget we would recommend using the strip type lashes that you can self apply without risking permanent injury to your self or allowing a non-certified person to apply to you.

  • i dont think it looks so..relaxing..maby after a while. but i would blink like crazy first

  • I got these done today, at my beautician in Qld, Australia. So far I love them. I can't feel them but my eyes just look so much prettier and lovlier. It cost me $75 Aussie dollars for a full set.

  • how do i buy this kit

  • Is this permanent? If not how long does it last. I am soo impressed.

  • This particular video is a "spa Eyelash extensions" basically be wary of the places in the mall... spa's offer the best eyelash extensions. I get mine done once a every three weeks. The cost here in upstate NY is $300.00 the first time and then $75.00-150.00 for a fill. if you have the money it is well worth it.

  • it will last 3to 4 weeks.if your going to take good care of it

  • I dont think it could be permanent.

  • It's semi permanent which means it lasts as long as your natural eyelash with proper care.

  • Not permanet at all. According to a makeup guru here on youtube who has had it done- it lasts no more than a few weeks.

  • You are absolutely correct. Lavish Lashes are "semi-permanent" eyelash extensions which will be shed along with your natural eyelash every 90-120 days depending your hair growth cycle.

  • are you applying them to the natural lashes? i couldnt tell because before u glue it u put the glue on the natural lashes

  • omg it must be soooooo hard cuz it looks sooo hard wow

  • Do u put the extension on top of the natural lashes or beside them? I bought Ardell adhesive, they don't seem to work, they look clot, black lumbs ..is it because it's not the right adhesive? Mine dry out somehow in my kit lol...

  • wrong adhesive..

  • The adhesive being used in this video is specifically made for semi permanent extensions so I am not sure what adhesive you are referring to.

  • wow this looks so relaxing lol

  • Hi there

I did the eyelash extension course and must say it's not as easy to do as it looks on the vid! You've done a great job.

One of my clients said 'can this damage ur lashes because hair extensions are used in the same way as applying glue onto ur eyelashes- application of the glue onto the hair may damage the lash so is it the same thing'?

Also why can you not treat permed lashes? Is it because of the 'curl' effect on the lash that won't suit the extensions?

  • If the lashes are applied correctly i.e. the correct weight and length for each lash, eyelash extensions actually weigh less than the typical coating of mascara most women wear daily. This is why it is so critical that if you choose a reputable company to be certified by so that you are given all the information needed to safely apply the lashes. You can apply extensions to permed or tinted lashes if it is done prior to applying the lashes. Great Questions!

  • do they poke the extension up in your lash-line or do they just stick it with some sort of lgue?

  • The lashes are placed about 1mm from your "wet line" if applied correctly. The lash extensions should never touch your skin. The lashes are applied using a specific adhesive for eyelash extensions. This adhesive is NOT the same type as used for false eyelash strips, i.e. Duo Adhesifve.

  • my friend gets then done at the nail shop where they do lashes too for $15 and they look way longer and way fuller and prettier. and they last a month too.

  • The length of the lashes is based on the client's lashes and general follicle strength. If done correctly a full set typically takes 2 hours to apply. If your friend is paying $15.00 she is probably having a much shorter procedure. When applied incorrectly lash extensions can in fact cause premature lash loss and lash "gaps" will occur.

  • how long do they last and do they damage your natural lashes? thanks emma xx

  • they last 2 weeks to a month but evry couple weeks u will need to replace a few. they fall out with ur natural lash cycle. so no damage

  • How can I acquire the training for this because I want to learn how to do this so bad because alot of people where I live gets the what I call "ghetto" lashes done and it really makes ur real lashes fall off n it looks so un-natural. Please Help!

  • 0.O didn't think people were so obsesses with eyelashes...

  • Get them once and I think you might find yourself one of the "obsessed". LOL

  • i have a pretty long eyelas but it doesn't curl up, it goes down so i look like i don't have much eyelash, should i get permanant curl or extension?

  • ge the perm. i get that. i luv it. i dnt need lashes either. mine r real long and go straight down also. perm makes a huge difference

  • If you are completely happy with the lenght of your lashes you can try getting the lashes permed. You can have extensions applied as well after your lashes are permed and have your professional use: "C" lashes and they will help sustain the curl for the life of the lash because the bonding agent "cradles" the natural lash with the synthetic one which doesn't typically lose it's curl.

  • What can be done if one has gaps in the lashes as a result of an previous eye infection?

  • How much is this normally?

  • Typically your first full set is $250.00 - $450.00 depending on your area. Touch ups usually start at $75.00.

  • 1:14-1:23 that looked like it felt so good...

  • i want to get them done. but the salon that does them where i live charge $195- $ 250, for them. thats a lot

  • You should only have to pay that for your first application which will take about 2 hours if done correctly. After that touch ups are done ever 3-6 weeks which is much less typically. If you choose someone that charges less you may be taking a reach chance with the quality and safety of the procedure. Make sure the person you choose is certified.

  • do I have to be certified to do this? where can I purchase these?

  • In order to do Lavish Lashes, yes you have to be a certified beauty or medical professional.

  • The lady applying the lashes really have very beautiful hands and she is very gentle. Nice video.

  • Thank you for the compliment.

  • That's so neat. I have pretty full lashes as it is, but I kinda want this done. Not patient enough for the process though haha

  • SOOOO soothing just looking at the video.!!!

  • Can you apply mascara to lash extensions

  • Yes, but only waterbased mascara. Also you should only apply it sparingly.

  • Absolutely!! Thank you for your comment.

  • i want to learn how to do this. its looks like you need a really steady hand

  • i got them done last month

they last for about 5weeks if u take really good care of them! you have to be super gentle with them.they are Heavy. and try not to put alot of mascara on.actually dont put mascara at all.cus itll make them fall out and get super clumpy.

there okay. once they all fell out my eyes looked weid without them.

idont think ill get them gain for a whillle

and i got them done for $128

  • wonderfull¡¡¡ congratulations¡

  • Are you allowed to wear mascara with these extentions, because i would think after applying make-up then removing , then re-applying day after day would be bad for them...

  • how many hairs per eye do you usually add?

  • Typically a full set is approx 50 -75 lashes per eye.

  • I know someone that got them done,

    cost her 125.

  • NICE Tiffany ring!

  • There are a lot of ways to be Lavish. LOL

  • are they painful??

  • If applied correctly you won't feel them.

  • will it be uncomfortable??

  • The procedure is completely pain free and in fact most people simply take a nap during the procedure.

  • A couple of questions regarding the lash extensions.

    1. How long does this application take to complete?

    2. How long do the extensions usually last?

Im sure each answer will have multiple answers, but just a rough estimate would be fine.

    Thanks

  • Your first full set will take approx. 2 hours to apply. Touch Ups given every 3-6 weeks takes approx 1/2 hour.

The lash extensions can last up to 2 months but because your lashes shed every day you will need to have a touch up every 3-6 weeks depending on your lash cycle.

  • how much does this cost

  • That's okay most people do. You should hear all the snoring when we do trade shows and have several people getting lashes done at one time LOL

  • love it!!

  • Thank You.

  • I went to get my eyelashes done and it wasn't anything like this. I should have shopped around more because mine were hard and unrealistic and the hurt and i ended up cutting them off. The eyelashes in the video look beautiful. What questions should I ask when going into the salon for the first time?

  • If you want to be assured you are seeing a certified Lavish Lashes Professional you may visit our directory and you can be assured that they have been properly trained in this service. If not make sure you ask to see professional credentials and a copy of a true certification by one of the leading eyelash extension companies in the market.

  • I know this is kind of off topic, but I love the girl's white manicure. She's so gentle, I love that, the massage part looks like a real treat.

  • watching this made me feel so comftable and sleepy!

  • wen u apply the lash do u apply it to another lash????

  • The lashes are applied one to one to each lash.

  • omg!!! how long does this last for and where can i get it done??!!!!! ive had eyelash extensions before but they were kinda shoddy and didnt even last a week

  • If properly applied Lavish Lashes can last 4-8 weeks depending on your eyelash cycle and how you take care of them before needing a touch up. You can visit the lavish lashes web site and visit our directory to find a certified Lavish Lashes professional.

  • i'd fall asleep if it took 2 hourssss.

  • Most people do! And who can't use a little "nap".

  • I had the operation from Lavish Lashes and I must say,as a man, my eyelashes look great and have lasted for months.

    :-D

  • It's a nice and affordable treatment.

    And I am a man.

    :-)

  • hey do you guy only make the eyelash look longer ,because i have thin not soo much there lashes and i want fuller and dark

  • what type of adhesive do you use ive been irrated by some in the past if you dont mind me asking

  • Lavish Lashes Professionals have the option of using an odor free adhesive that shouldn't cause you any of those reactions.

  • that is so cool.

  • how much does this cost?^^

  • Lavish Lashes professionals typically charge $250 for your first 2 hour procedure.

  • hi, I'm a makeup artist from Brazil, how should I get your trainning and products?

  • can u put maskara on the eyelash extentions with out them falling out!?

  • Yes you can apply safely use mascara on your extensions. You can purchase specific Eyelash Extension Mascara from Lavish Lashes if you do not have a Lavish Lashes Professional in your area. There are other mascaras that may be safe but the mascara that should never be used are the waterproof types.

  • Can you curl you fake lashes?

  • this looks like a lot of work to have longer Eyelash and i don't know what dude is checking out girls Eyelash LoL XD

  • Well for me, idont care if my man likes it or not. But If i do, then ill just get it on my own cause i like it. And it makes my eyes look more wide and more attractive- to me.=]

  • What happens if you don't get a touch up in 3 weeks? Do your lashes fall out? Also afterwards, can you put mascara on and then use eye make up remover? Can you use eyelash curlers on your lashes afterwards?

  • and will my original lashes fall off when the fake ones fall off?because it seems that they aplicate the fake one to the original..or on the original

  • Lavish Lashes will not effect the natural cycle of your natural lashes when applied correctly. Your lashes typically have a life span of about 100-120 days. They will shed naturally at sometime during that time period. Think of it a similiar to hair extensions in that regard.

  • The whole reason the fake eyelashes fall off is because they fall off with your natural lash when it would normally fall off. Your eyelashes fall out all the time and re-grow, just like the hair on your head.

  • hOW LONG WILL THESE STAY?

  • Lavish Lashes typically can last up to 2 months. You will however need touch-ups every 4-6 weeks as your natural lashes shed.

  • i had this done before and it looks amazing, the beauty therapist sugested that i had 9mm from the innder eye and longer as it come out and it make me looked so much better, its so addictive but too expensive, try not to touch ur eye and use towls to face face instead of splashing water all over, when u have those lashes no need for makeup at all, just lip gloss, oh god, i wish i had loads of money, hehe XD

  • will it fall off if u rub ur eyes a lot?

  • Typically you should not have problems. If you "pick" at your lashes you will notice a loss of the extensions more frequently.

  • why will it do that

  • Beautiful...OH my goodness...it's amazing what can be esthetically improved these days...too bad I live in Alaska, because I'd definitely get them done regularly!

    thanks to uploader!

  • how long does this take?

  • that's pretty incredible. how long do they last?

  • Lavish Lashes take approx 2 hours to apply your first full set.

  • Lavish Lashes Eyelash Extensions is now offering a $100 discount of any certification just buy viewing this video. Just visit our web site and enter the code YOUTUBE08 and you will be given a $100 discount off the cost of your training and eyelash extension kit.

  • how much are these???!!!

  • Typically Lavish Lashes Professionals charge 250.00 and up for a full set of eyelash extensions. Touch ups usually start at $75.00.

  • I got this done and they looked nice, but it iched like hell and all my eyelashes came out. I was bald for about a month.

  • This is not is what is supposed to happen when eyelash extensions are correctly applied. Did the professional that applied them consult with you on any medications or health issues that might be present? Or, the lashes may not have been applied correctly which we see too often because of poor training and products. If one extension for example is on 2 lashes. Please feel free to visit our web site and send us an email and we will be happy to advise you further to help you regain your lashes.

  • Awesome Video!!

  • Thank You!

  • I am considering having eyelash extensions applied but I have severe allergies. Should I still get them?

  • Eyelash Extensions typically should not be applied while you are having severe allergies. The procedure could end up making your systems worse during high pollen count days, etc. I would suggest meeting with a Lavish Lashes Professional for a free consultation before deciding on getting the procedure done.

  • I;m going to be doing this treatment in May and I'm already getting clients saying that it's 'surely not good for your natural lashes- especially at a mature age.. they could damage ur real lashes!' is this true? Great vid.

  • You bring up a very good point. The reason Lavish Lashes Professionals have to be trained and certified is that these issues due in fact have an impact. The weight of the lash extension is one of those factors. At a mature age you should request the thinnest lash which is .10mm in diameter which is the lightest lash available. Make sure and also share any medications you may be taking as well.

  • I heard that if you get eyelash extensions, your real eyelashes fall out. Is that true?

  • Eyelash extensions if properly applied will will not have any negative impact on your natural lashes. In fact if you do not wear mascara your lashes will in fact become healthier in that the weight of eyelash extensions is less than the average mascara application. The key is to make sure your professional reviews an intake form with you prior to your application in the event you have any health issues that would prevent you being a good candidate for this procedure.

  • Can you wear mascara over these?

  • Yes you can wear mascara with eyelash extensions with certain restrictions. You cannot wear waterproof mascara for instance and use any oil based make up removers.

  • how much does it cost?

  • Typically a full set by a Lavish Lashes Professional will cost starting at $250.00 and touch ups needed every 3-6 weeks (depending on your lash cycle, etc) start at approx $75.00.

  • anyone no how much they would cost ?

    cause this looks really cool

& im aculy thinking about getting it done : )

  • Eyelash Extensions it done by a trained professional usually cost between 250.00 and 500.00 for a full set. A 2 hour process typically. Touch ups every 3-6 weeks usually start at $75.0 to $150.00

  • I'm a licensed aesthetician and wanted to know the proper way of applying individuals and this video is beautifully done. Thank you for the help.

  • Thank you for your comments. As much effort we put into the quality of these types of presentations we do not put DVD's in our kits and require hands on certification in order to become a certified client of Lavish Lashes. Because of your taking the time to give us your input, Lavish Lashes will award you a $50.00 discount on any training you may choose to attend. This will be in addition to any promotions we may be currently running. Thank you again for your comments.

  • hm.. how much would it cost? and what if that person messes up? how long is does it take them?

  • wow, I was thinking of getting some but that looks way to complicated.

  • It is actually a simple procedure for the client. Simply take a nap during your procedure and wake up to beautiful maintenance free eyelashes.

  • i got this type of procedure done today.

    but not from this company.

    i love my lashes now.

    they look natural and long!

  • Good for you! There are many talented eyelash extension professionals out there to choose from.

  • Hmm looks kinda like it would hurt...Does it really hurt? And is it relaxing?

  • If your eyelash extensions are applied correctly you will not feel them after applied and the procedure is completely painless.

  • i am so gonna do that now.

  • You may find an eyelash extension professional on our web site if you would like Lavish Lashes.

  • looks boring id b sleeping

  • Actually most of our eyelash professionals find their clients do just that. It is such a relaxing procedure clients typically take advantage of procedure and catch up on well needed rest.

  • is that painfull?

  • Eyelash Extensions are not painful if applied correctly. Most clients simply take a well needed nap during the 2 hour procedure when they get their first full set. In addition after they are applied they should feel completely weightless.

  • i see.thx ur answear

  • I heard there was a new eyelash extension system coming out can you give me any information.

  • Yes there is a new system being released the end of June 08. The company is called Liquifan and their web site is named the same. This product will only be sold to current eyelash extension professionals that apply the eyelash extensions.

  • it's almost like the job of juwllery maker.

  • Your right that the eyelash extension procedure is a very precise skill to master.

  • looks pretty but talk about painstaking!

  • I have never seen anything like that.

  • You can visit our web site for more information or contact a Lavish Lashes professional and they would be happy to let you come in to their salon/spa to get a closer look. Thank you for your comment.

  • Do you decide on which lash to apply the extensions on?

  • You typically place an eyelash extension on any natural lash that is mature enough to hold the weight of the eyelash extension. This is a very good question and is something that is covered extensively in Lavish Lashes Training Courses.

  • Thank you. I've been thinking of getting extensions for the longest time now and your answers and this video has help immensely.

  • You very welcome. You may visit our web site to locate a Lavish Lashes Certified eyelash extension professional in your area.

  • Best eyelash extension video I've ever seen...keep them coming!

  • We will be posting new videos shortly. Thank you for the comment.

  • I just wanted to say Thank You for my eyelash extensions. I will never go a day without them again!

  • how much does it cost??

  • Typically Lavish Lashes cost about 300.00 for your first application and then 75-150.00 for touch ups every 3-6 weeks.

  • wow i get mines done for 75 and 40 for a fill. you guys charge way too much!

  • We appreciate your input. If you can find a professional that will only charge you that much we would never dissuade you from doing so. Based on our experience however anyone that we have discovered that is charging what you are paying has not either invested in hands on certification for this process or is not licensed and does not have insurance in the event any issue arises.

  • You know how the fake eyelashes are glued to the individual lashes and not the base.. what if i dont have many lashes to start off with?

  • Eyelash Extensions are applied to the natural eyelash so in order to have them applied you have to have a "canvas" to work with. The best advice we can offer is not to have any lashes applied to your lashes for now and use a eyelash conditioner to help strengthen your eyelash follicle for a couple of months before having lash extensions applied. You can find one of these products on the Lavish Lashes website or from many other sources as well.

  • woah, how long does that take?

  • The first full set typically takes approx 2 hours if done properly. Touch ups for eyelash extensions typically performed every 3-6 weeks and take approx 45 minutes.

  • this was the best demonstration of eyelash extensions on u tube...well done..awesome to see what actually happens when you get them done, coz obviously you dont have a clue when your eyes are closed...thanks

  • can you get the extensions even if your lashes are not curly?

  • Yes your lavish lashes professional can choose the right eyelash extensions for your specific lashes.

  • Yes your lavish lashes professional can choose the right eyelash extensions for your specific lashes.

  • can you wear mascara and eyeliner with eyelash extensions? and if so, is there a certain way to take eye makeup off without rubbing the lashes off?

  • Yes you can as long as it is not a waterproof mascara. Some are betting than other for eyelash extensions and we carry one as well. You must be gentle when removing your make up and make sure to only use Non-Oil Based removers.
