we just got an xbox 360 elite we have had it for 5 days the red rings of death are not showing but it keeps freezing, it takes ages to start, a lot longer than it used to and when we put a game most of the time it cant read it and sometimes it says play dvd! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????­????? its not ment to break after only FIVE days we havent even used it that much. any tips?

lol Xbox 360 sucks so bad they actually have a built in fuck up checker! LMAO!!!!! Yeah if your Xbox fucks up (which it will) just get the response code it gives you when you push the little white diagnostic button. Switch to PS3 or die... of dissapointment.

depends how you look it though when the 360 up and running its alot better system then the ps3 and wii for alot of things online gamming on a 360 is alot more better online then the ps3 is i have both systems but i agree with the red lights its terrbile its like common richsest man owns htis thing cant even put soem money towards a better put together system? and last year i got the elite and ive had it since around jan 2008 and the stuff insides been changed and the power is 150w was 250w

Yeah i see where ur coming from, but theres only one thing i like about the 360 is live.. but i don't like the fact u have to pay £40 a year for the service. Which on the ps3, its free! But xbox live is better in some ways like it has more community. But sony will update the online service as they go on so

yeye :-D I mean the reason i got the ps3 was because i've had every playstation console which has come out throughout my life LOL and i was going to get a 360, but then i saw on the news about the problems it had so i was a bit iffy about it :-P So then i resorted t a ps3 and i've been enjoying it ever since :-D

the fist thing you need to do before you make any repairs is check the error code of the 3 red lights to do that, turn the system on wait for 3 redlights push the small white buttom and hold it, and push the eject button, the first error will flash all red lights meaning it's 0 1 light is 1 and 2 lights is 2 and 3 red lights is 3. do this 4 times then write your error code down and look it up. find out what the problem is. just prey you don't get 0102 means system does not know what is wrong
