I attended Sunday at Sweet Holy Spirit and their visiting pastor said something along the lines of "We have to save our kids from this immoral sin, pray away the gay, if you see one tell them they're going to hell...etc." and I almost walked out. You can give someone what the word of GOD says but it is between them and GOD what they do. I love all people, no matter who they are because that is what GOD commanded us to do, is love everyone. If you feel as though they are wrong and you can show them in the Word of GOD, then that is what you do and pray for their deliverance, Church is suppose to be a place to Teach and Preach the way of GOD, not point out other peoples faults, that is between them and GOD.

Shame. I attended Sunday at Sweet Holy Spirit and their visiting pastor said something along the lines of "We have to save our kids from this immoral sin, pray away the gay, if you see one tell them they're going to hell...etc." and I almost walked out. I was just with how many of the gay men in the church burst into tears as if they'd done something wrong and I more shocked at the gay ones who were egging him on.
