0:30 there is SOOO much worng w/ that. 1) Long lead rope, could break the horses neck!!! 2) You dont just wip or pretend to wip a horse like that 3) any equestrain knows that!!
Do not have a clue what the person on 0.32 is doing (looks like shes waving a lunge whip around) but I wouldnt be suprised if the horse breaks its leg. Thinks who ever it is needs to learn a few things about horses as that is defently not safe for both horse and her/him
lol love the music and people tell me its the rider but really the horse i ride is really cheaky and likes to canter off because he has been riding for ages and he cant be doing with any boring he wants to have fun and if horses/riders dident mess up then any1 could do horses riding so Daffy (the horse i ride) keep being cheaky and make my lessons funny!!!! and its not always my folt :) -not charlootiful :) ty !!!!
I fell with my horse once, and she ended up on top of me, with her hooves in my face. For a sec I thought she would kick me by accident when she got up, but she just carefully rolled away from me and stood up while she madesure that she didn't hurt me. That mademe cry. I realized That my horse really loves me. These horses could love their riders too, if they just got the chance to. If their riders really tried to comunicate and make their horses trust. Excuse my english, I'm from sweden.
Well, personally, an animal that is well over one thousand pounds, should not be made to jump several feet off the ground. U can plainly see that the horses are not enjoying themselves jumping! Race them, yeah, ride them yeah, work them, yeah, but dont efin jump them, its simply pointless! Get yourself a standardbred and saddle it up and make way down a dirt road at 30 mph, now the horse is havin fun!
well, some horses actually like jumping, my horse is 13.3 and he jumps 3'3". If i asked him to jump higher he would. One time, we were jumping a 2'6" vertical with a trot pole in front at my lesson and he tripped on the trot pole, when he did that, i fell on his neck and instead of dumping me, and jumping away from the jump, he still jumped it and after he jumped it, he stopped and let me get organized again. he loves to jump!
@ShowtimeStables66 I can't agree with you some horse's not all do enjoy it. I have had some that hate it. I am from England live in the USA. Done 3 day eventing and barrel raced. I have 5 horses 3 are from the race track all of mine are rescues. I have two that can not no longer be ridden because the track messed them up very badly. I am not doggin on your post but just saying some do enjoy it. Horses will even jump by themselves if you leave them out cool to watch :)
sorry but i have to disagree, some horses do enjoy it. and a horse is built to jump the hight of its withers natuarly but can jump higher if A. the horse wants to or B. if it is trained but there are some horses that dont enjoy and they clearly show that when they play up but there are those horses that enjoy and put thier everything in it.
at :33 the person on the ground was probably trying to get a green horse used to the saddle, but it was crowhopping. He probably should have had that horse on a lunge line for better control instead of just loose in the arena...
God it makes you think horses are so fucking amazing ! you just have to think they make their own decisions people don't give them much credit people think they are just animals! well they are wrong horses make mistakes but so do people GO HORSES !!!!!!!!!
honestly the balence on some of the riders is CRAP but on others its good my pony stopped at a 80cm spread them decidid to jump it i did a handstand and didnt fall off lol !
@katrinahorse Hey, I saw your comment. The horse is mine, he decided he didn't like the double bridle and went up. His butt hit the fence and he turned, when he came back down, my foot landed on the fence and pushed me out of the saddle.
About 00:32; you can't criticize something from such a short video. Nor do you know the background. I don't approve it, mind you, but I keep from commenting on impulse about it sicne I don't know the story behind it.
I like the video, but it would have been better if you didn't add in the clips from Black Beauty, ya know? It just doesn't look right when the majority of the clips are real shots and then there is random movie content chopped into the mix. Other than that, good work! =)
the rider at 2:41 was doing really good, when the horse rears, grab their neck to hold on not the reins if u grab the reins that just encourages them to go back further
For you guys asking about the guy at 32 sec in, he has this video on youtube and he was showing how his method of training was better than the method being demonstrated o.O, I'm not condoning his behavior but that is the story behind it *shrug*
@MissFrrankii Yeah, but he wasn't lunging the horse, there was no lungeline, just the reins dangling and he was just beating the poor horse up :( I would never treat a horse that way, and especially a young horse (guessing).
33 seconds! what the hell!? that is extremely unsafe! lunging a horse with tack is one thing, but with a loose lead rope is dangerous!!! and on top of that, the guy was encouraging it! that guy is a serious dumbass
Okay, for everyone concerned about the video at 0:33, that's a Youtube by the name of Endospink. He specializes in a special training called Hybrid Horsemanship, mostly dealing with racehorses. Look him up; his training is actually very effective despite how it may seem.
@esludds Are you joking? do you even know 1 thing about horses??? The horse could trip oveer his lead line and become seriously injured. what a dumm y both you and that rider
@xEquestrianGirly The rider could have his hand ripped off by holding on u muppet. And learn how to type dummy right as well while you learn about horses
@xEquestrianGirly calm te horse down are you for real how do you propose he could of done that? Let the horse get it out of his system then quietly approach him. Im well able to type you with your multiple question marks ???
@Tokiohotelgirl97 acually in some training methods they do that, they whip the horse to keep them moving and get there bucks out . in my opinion this guy is stupid to be doing it with the horses lead shank (or reins) handing down since a horse can get caught and cause some serious injurys. Also. What the guy is doing is not whiping him. whiping him would be having the end of the lundge line acaully come in contact with the horse. Hes incoracing the horse to move forward
@sammysyrett sometimes people do that for the best of the horse, the horse will soon calm down and realise whats on its back, is not gunna come off but also not gunna hurt him, the person wasnt hittin the horse either, just giving it encouragement to move. ina way this is safer for both horse and rider, if the horse has a difficult attitude ! :)
While a fair bit of fault resides with people, horses that don't know how really shouldn't jump. That's like trying to make an elephant wire a house. It doesn't work well and someone usually ends up hurt.
@Wildernessbirchridge haha, no your attitude is laughable, and everyone can see that on here. youve got a twisted sence of reality and feel the need to belittle people on here because you dont have anyhting interesting going on in your life! all i said was putting a saddle on a horses back and then using a whip around the horse will not benefit the animal, you then went off on a different subject, so yes, you do need to grow up & be less defensive as your defensive attutude shows your lacking...
@Wildernessbirchridge wow, why all the attitude! i made a point on one specific point of behaviour and not each little part that amounts up to training as each horse is different, nothign a short subject, hency why i sub subjected this point., im not talking about all the in's & outs of training horses, so dont assume i am not educated as you know nothing about my Equine knowledge, Years = experience as riding a horse for 3 months means youll know less than a long term rider!no need for attitude
@Wildernessbirchridge Ive been training horses for 13 years and studied horse management at college national certificate and diploma, 6a leven equliv. I think we have miss communication here, No problem with putting a saddle on a horse and to let the horse buck, bolt etc. my issus is putting a saddle on a horse and then using a WHIP, what good is the whip doing ,a whip dosent need to tell the horse to buck, the horse is aware that something different is on its back so will buck until calmed down
@Wildernessbirchridge understand but there shoudlnt be a "hard way" there should be a way that works for the horse and frightning and stressing the animal out is not right, if a child has trouble learning something then you dont smack the child or kick it, you find a calmer way of trying to make the child understand, just think that "hard" ways should not be used and that using and understanding the general natural behavour of a horse will allwo natural and better results for the future.
@Wildernessbirchridge Horses can be broken in but its the way people go about it that should be considered, whack a whip and put a saddle on the animal does not create an enjoyable experience, just saying that when / if breaking a horse in, thi should be calm and as less stressful as possible for the animal.
@MintyBabesxo Thats a good point! I would have done that 2! People do the dumbest things sometimes. FOR THE PEOPLE THAT DISLIKED PROBABLY THOUGHT IT SAID "DIS I LIKE!!!" !!!!!! ;) xxx
Guys, you should look at the whole video with that guy that is hitting the whip next to the horse( not on him!), he's not the horsehater you think he is..
@OhMyPirate no bridle on the horse, just the saddle & so people crack the whip to encourage the horse to buck thinking it will help the horse get broken in and make the horse realise/ get used to the saddle as he/she can not buck it off. / make the horse overly buck / ware the horse out so it will not have the energy to buck someone off when trying to put a person on the horses back, but i dont reccamend this way as stressed the horse out creating riding with a bad experience.
@sammysyrett i know how stupid!!! horses dont generally mind having a saddle on there back as long as they trust you :) that horse obviously doesnt trust him/her :LLL
@ILOVESTORM100 It looked more like the person was psyching it up and it was panicing from the lead rope being between his legs. Or yes he as issues xD. Mine did :)
@ILOVESTORM100 the stupid person stood there waving a long whip at it has problems, not the poor horse! if i was a horse i'd have booted them in the face, nevermind bucking & rearing! >.<

@Wildernessbirchridge hahaha, grow up little girl, go on believeing what you like, bahahahaa

Guys, you should look at the whole video with that guy that is hitting the whip next to the horse( not on him!), he's not the horsehater you think he is..
DamnProzacjunkie 11 months ago
@sammysyrett how do you know they were breaking a horse??
OhMyPirate 11 months ago
@OhMyPirate no bridle on the horse, just the saddle & so people crack the whip to encourage the horse to buck thinking it will help the horse get broken in and make the horse realise/ get used to the saddle as he/she can not buck it off. / make the horse overly buck / ware the horse out so it will not have the energy to buck someone off when trying to put a person on the horses back, but i dont reccamend this way as stressed the horse out creating riding with a bad experience.
sammysyrett 11 months ago
@sammysyrett oh ok that makes sense to me. less stress the better :)

@sammysyrett i know how stupid!!! horses dont generally mind having a saddle on there back as long as they trust you :) that horse obviously doesnt trust him/her :LLL
