I think she probably grew up singing songs from American artists.Her style and genre is pretty much a female American category. Sure other people are successful in that genre, but the ladies with the powerful voices like her tend to come from America. People like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc. are probably the people she wanted to emulate.
