  • Hey A-Rod, I'd play you for any amount of $, anytime

  • @skysize30 You must be awesome at golf.

  • bet you can see that ball land at 300 yards in the dark... super ultra glow in the dark balls.

  • @curtswangs Great idea.

  • Just because nobody else does it doesn't mean it's "revolutionary"

If that's the case I'll try hitting the ball with two cut wrists and one eye poked out...Because obviously nobody else is trying it so it must be good!

  • @mr75204 Good luck with your quest.

  • By watching this video I think I just screwed up my swing!!!thanks man.

  • @cgilewski12 Yeah right! Go back and study Moe Norman and the strangest swings in the golf world. _Hammer

  • Im a baseball player and my golf swing is actually fairly similar to that in the video, the only problem is that I slice real bad most of the time. what do you do to counter that?

  • @royalsbaseball8 If you are slicing the ball it is because you must be standing too close to the ball. Try teeing up the ball higher and hitting up on the driver. Hit the "chin" of the ball. Use centrifugal force and let your club go on a sweeping arc and you will be pleasantly surprised. Thanks for your comment._Hammer

  • @royalsbaseball8 If would try to work on getting the club to come in to out rather than outside in. I assume you come over the top to? which causes you to either hit a pull or a slice. You curve the ball with the swing path and you start the ball with the clubface.

Most players that come over the top don't move forward enough in the downswing and their upper body is really active the upper body should be passive and the hips should be leading the downswing.

    Good luck!

  • @royalsbaseball8 hes wrong if you are slicing it you are standing to far awayor maybe even pulling your arms in on the down swing try keeping your arms straight this will give you a natural teaching in your arms and then your whole swing

  • Drive for show but you putt for dough .. Was that happy Gilmore ??

  • @sh1tst0rm1 It appies to all golfers. I especially like Happy using a hockey stick to get the putt to the cup._Hammer

  • Thats a golf swing. He's faking the release of the right hand at the end. Its not done immidiately after impact but at the end of the follow through. Its a useless move done for show

  • @Gyro911 Thanks for your input. Hammer

  • why is this revolutionary? its just a baseball swing...and the move is pretty good but i bet you cant work the ball left to right at all

  • @mickeyheck24 It is revolutionary because nobody else does it like this. I can also fade the ball. Thanks for your comments. Hammer

  • 2 things arent good bout this, 1st, man ur shoulder must hurt since ur carrying all that momentum on 1 arm(shoulder) instead..

2nd, you hook ( iner-sided slice) so much? in your vid i saw maybe 2 or 3 ball go straight. you move your body too much, making you lose alot of stability in your swing.

  • @WiTTeNx My shoulder feels fine. Happy with ball flight too. Thanks for your input. Hammer

  • song name?

  • @btag4 The song is called Grip It To Rip It. It is an original song that is on my golf album. Hammer

  • @dhopper11 That tee is about 5 inches. The legal limit is 4 inches. Sometimes I practice with 12 inch tees to help faltten out my downswing. Hammer

  • pretty good move into the ball

  • @micahalb Thanks for your comment. Hammer

  • thats a high ass tee

  • @Liamrox463 This 4 inch tee lets me get high launch angles and low backspin rates. Hammer

  • Hammer why arent you on the long drive tour....???

  • It just looks like MOE NORMANS swing.....that what you've copied...good but why r u letting go of the club through impact....surely this affects your accuracy...

  • this song is horrible

  • @Eugen3Cho1 Thanks. Hammer

  • ...plus with all that swing weight - letting go probably takes a lot of stress off your right shoulder...

  • Hammer - are you pulling with your left arm? Moe and Greg talk about how their right hand just goes along for the ride. Plus I love that abbreviated Jim Furyk action at the top of your take away. You really come underneath beautifully. How would you describe your consistency overall?

  • Looks like Moe Norman meets Mark McGwire! That looks like a pretty fundamentally sound golf swing.

  • @bunkerputt Thanks for your comment. Hammer

  • hhahahahaa ok

  • That is the worst swing I have ever seen, how can you try and teach that to someone, your consistancy I gaurentee is terrible !

  • @cordes4444 Really? Let's see what kind of swing you have to offer the Youtube world. Hammer

  • does the heavy club increase distance as compared with lighter club ,,,both at same club head speed?

i think my speed is limited cause i am 60yo but i am very strong

  • The heavy club causes greater lag and a greate MOI. Watch the club shaft bend and then create a sling shot effect. Hammer

  • i want to hit driver farther

and looks like you transfer alot weight from right to left and follow through with body to get power, you make it look easy but its not

  • Check out my book Whole Brain Power. There are lots of tips with the hammer drills that will help you increase distance.

I have a short backswing but my clubs are very heavy and there is LOTS of weight transfer to the left side. Hammer

  • like to see u try it with a 5 iron on the ground :)

  • I can hit my five iron off the ground no problem. I will post a video of it soon. Hammer

  • basically hitting a low outside fastball. look from the downswing through the followthrough.

  • I used to play lots of baseball and the outside fastball was one of my favorite pitches to hit. My hands are in a batters position from the downswing through the followthrough. That is good of you to notice. Hammer

  • lol cool... keep hitting em good.

  • sweet song has a lil hip hop to it!! sure hammer id love to meet at oak creek sometime...i need to save a lil money first 16 bucks a bag is too much for me at this time in my life...soon..however real soon..take care hammer

  • Chris, Thanks for the reply. We can split the cost of the large bag of balls. This recession can not get in the way of improving your golf game. Hammer

  • Is the song made by you? =)

  • Yes it is. It was co written with a song writing partner. That is me doing the singing. It is one of 12 songs on my golf album. I will be posting more videos with other songs. Hammer

  • haha the song is awesome!! :D

I think I will use it before I play golf many times! ;)

  • It is great to know people are inspired by this song. Hammer

  • Moe Noman: I've got the simplest move in golf because I use the least moving parts.

Thinking about this quote and looking at your swing is quite funny :D

  • When I am taking a normal swing there are very few moving parts. Notice that on the backswing that there is no hinge in my wrist. Because I release the right hand on most of my shots, my left wrist stays bowed at impact. If you look at my swing plane it is very shallow and this is why I get such low backspin rates on my driver.

  • hahah as far from Moe Norman as you can come m8! Funny :D

(his right heel is on ground on impact)

I like the song "Rip It!!!! ;)

    Great vid thanks!

  • This video is about being original with my approach to hitting a golf ball. The results that I get are impressive. I get tremendous distance with my clubs because of the way that I push off the ground with my right foot. It actually slides forward and this shifts all of my weight to the left side. Thanks for the comment. Hammer

  • hehe okey

    I like it ;)
