I love this smokey look! NOw I just need are some good brushes! One suggestion though! IF u don't like fluidline u could try using Loreal Lineur Liner! It's got a brush applicator so it's easy to use. I have a steady hand plus years of practice so I don't make mistakes like I once used to! I think the colour is intense and I think it would look great on u!

If you wear the colors with confidence, even if you look like a clown, you'll be radiating across the room! I just had an idea. Somebody had requested eyepopping and/or wondergrass and another person requested an ocean look with greens and blues. So I'm going to combine all three requests into one...hope ya like it whenever it's out. *^_^*
Aww...thanks again. Well, let's just put it this way, I do have three full 15 refill palettes (45 colors total) in which I color coded them and believe me, I love depotting my shadows and rearranging my colors. It's so addictive! *^_^*

To save up on money, just smudge your eyeliner from your upper lashlines to your eyelids and apply Black Tied (they don't sell Greystone anymore) on top of it to create smokey effect. *^_^*

Thanks laniebcx! Mines is Freshlook Color Blends (not sure if it's part of Acuvue or not) in Gray and with insurance, I think it was around $29.99 a box vs the original price of $34.99. Each box comes with 6 lenses.

and also when you do smokey eyes you need to add more depth into it - its not dark enough - and add a shimmer under the brow to highlight the eye - also use your eyeliner to match the "V" you made in your crease - so bring your eyes to a cat like look - it will be rockin trust me i do it almost everynight
all the colors and the brushes are correct but it doesnt look right at all on her eyes at all ! so if you are watching this like i did and u are panicing thinking its not as pretty as you thought it would be dont panic its just her eyes that make it look eh not so great its only bc she lacks the crease (no affence)-
Yes, it's true that this look might not look like what everybody's expecting but then again, everybody's eyes are different and people should use their own judgement how to apply their crease. This tutorial is just to show how I apply my smokey eyes.
First of all, it's "no offense", not "no affence." Second, I agree with forg3tm3not770 that everyone's eyes are different. Lack of crease does not equal incorrect and ugly smokey eyes.

Thank you! Before I started purchasing MAC eye products, I've always used my fingers to blend and it works perfectly well. So if worst comes to worst and your brushes doesn't blend your shadows well, use your fingers...*^_^*

Thank you! I got the Pro Palette at the MAC store itself (not department store) here in GA (we have 2 of them in 2 different malls) for only $12 US and it fits 15 refill colors. A smaller palette that fits 4 colors is $3.50 US. Half of my brushes I got on EBAY and the other 1/2 I bought at the Mac Pro Store...please do your research on how to detect fake brushes if you're thinking of purchasing them on EBAY. There's so many of them these days that I don't buy MAC on EBAY anymore.

Yep...cked my camera and I don't have enough memory for that yet...but for the blending, I really do think it depends on the brushes b/c I used to use the non-MAC ones and could never get the right blend. Since then, I noticed a big improvement to my blending looks. To save money on brushes, you could purchase some on EBAY. Also, I twirl a lot with my brushes too to make sure that the colors blend into one another...hope this helps!

and also when you do smokey eyes you need to add more depth into it - its not dark enough - and add a shimmer under the brow to highlight the eye - also use your eyeliner to match the "V" you made in your crease - so bring your eyes to a cat like look - it will be rockin trust me i do it almost everynight

all the colors and the brushes are correct but it doesnt look right at all on her eyes at all ! so if you are watching this like i did and u are panicing thinking its not as pretty as you thought it would be dont panic its just her eyes that make it look eh not so great its only bc she lacks the crease (no affence)-

Yes, it's true that this look might not look like what everybody's expecting but then again, everybody's eyes are different and people should use their own judgement how to apply their crease. This tutorial is just to show how I apply my smokey eyes.

First of all, it's "no offense", not "no affence." Second, I agree with forg3tm3not770 that everyone's eyes are different. Lack of crease does not equal incorrect and ugly smokey eyes.

that looks so beautiful... :) i've tried to practice this but my makeup doesn't blend very well. i guess that's the great thing about brands like mac.

Thank you! Before I started purchasing MAC eye products, I've always used my fingers to blend and it works perfectly well. So if worst comes to worst and your brushes doesn't blend your shadows well, use your fingers...*^_^*

Where did you get that eyeshadow pallet? It's MAC, right? So, do you purchase your MAC brushes on Ebay? I tried too but too chickened out because of fake ones. Thanks for sharing... amazing!!

Thank you! I got the Pro Palette at the MAC store itself (not department store) here in GA (we have 2 of them in 2 different malls) for only $12 US and it fits 15 refill colors. A smaller palette that fits 4 colors is $3.50 US. Half of my brushes I got on EBAY and the other 1/2 I bought at the Mac Pro Store...please do your research on how to detect fake brushes if you're thinking of purchasing them on EBAY. There's so many of them these days that I don't buy MAC on EBAY anymore.

Thank you and you're welcome! Hmmm...I'm not sure if I can do a blending video unless I do it live. Let me try and see if my camera has enough memory to tape a Live short clip. If it doesn't work, I won't be able to do it.

Yep...cked my camera and I don't have enough memory for that yet...but for the blending, I really do think it depends on the brushes b/c I used to use the non-MAC ones and could never get the right blend. Since then, I noticed a big improvement to my blending looks. To save money on brushes, you could purchase some on EBAY. Also, I twirl a lot with my brushes too to make sure that the colors blend into one another...hope this helps!
