The only people that care about us Vietnam Veterans are other Vietnam Veterans. They hung us out to dry and left us to take care of ourselves, not caring about us or what happened to us. That's Okay, we take care of our own.
god bless you man! your a true american. as well as everyone who served (drafted or volunteered).i have nothing but respect for all of you. i have no more comments because i believe im not qualified to make them ,i wasnt there. THANKS MAN, YOUR A TRUE HERO IN MY MIND AND TRUE AMERICAN, I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH.
I'm grateful the service has a "decompressing" stage before u get out of your enlistment. It's long and tedious but worth it. Free, physical and mental therapy, Classes on resume and job interviews. Step by step into becoming a civilian once again. Back then u were killing people, getting shot at, then 2 days later u could be home done with the military. Not so glamorous. If that happens u will end up like this. The military wised up. "They left us out to dry"...poor guy....
Americans...no EVERYONE has gotta work hard to get the facts on anything before they commit...you don't buy a car without checking it's history etc so why vote the man in before checking his credentials...but in the end the truth doesn't usually come out till it's over, cos you're the ones making the truth, we are all making the future and history right now. Hope that makes sense...
