  • shoegazers are funny

  • @kmegarity but god damn can this dude spit

  • this doesnt seem like a live run all the way through

  • my earns and mind just climaxed

  • This is the sexist kind of fucked up.

  • His live performances have so much more energy than the tracks off the albums. They feel like different songs half the time. Love it

  • I consider his music influenced (intentionally or not) by Moby. The guitars, pianos and sometimes even the vocals. Sure is - the CD is great.

  • I love love love this!!!!!

  • What an amazing character

  • He's got some Joe Cocker in his hands.

  • yes. the TW comparison is spot on! See this guy live. He is incredible!!! I can only hope it rains for you and you are on a hillside in downtown Austin, TX like I was to create a fantastic atmosphere!

  • His physicality in this video (and even his voice a little bit) reminds me of the way Tom Waits performs. That's a very good thing.

  • i had this pointed out to me and thought so too! even musically, the guitars and rythm, very waitsian! :)

  • Saw him at Turner Hall last night. he is insane and intense in the best way possible

  • This guy is so awesome! He is definately one of the best live performers I have ever seen! If you get the chance to see him live, then you should absolutely do it! It will be worth it!

  • How did I not know about this man?!?!?!?!?

  • @lessergnome

that's exactly what I was thinking

  • saw him in january with tegan and sara in vancouver and he's pretty much the coolest guy around

  • saw him in Brussels last night, an two days ago in Cologne as support for t&s.

    awesome vibe this guy..

  • i saw him in berlin last thursday, as support for tegan and sara ... he was awesome, in my eyes his set was better than the set of t&s ... his performance was much more powerfull than any performance i have ever seen

  • heee is soooo fantastic =)

i really loved his concert in munich

  • Amazing sound and lyrics!

  • He was/is supporting Tegan and Sara. I ahd no idea who he was, but was absolutely amazing when I saw him in London.

  • Astro undoubtedly has talent but it isn't just rap and hip hop that has been using auto tune.Just about every genre of music is using some form of electronic manipulation tool that takes the talent out of music.

  • You can tell the music is a recording, but Astro is rapping live. Good to see some real talent as apposed to the auto-tune epidemic in hip hop and rap recently

  • Love him! He reminds me of Buck 65 at times... their style and voices are kind of similar, yet they cannot be more different!

  • sounds just as good as the album version

  • i think its even better, much more emotional

  • Agreed. So awesome.

  • It's "The Wondersmith and All His Sons" from pomegranate

  • whats the actual name of this song?

  • haha hes like a pshycopath with his crazy hand movements

  • I know!!

    He's so spastic!

    But I still love it.

  • some parts sound like tom waits

  • I was just thinking the same thing.

  • @joevalu This performance really reminds me of Mr. Waits. I think I like this better than the album version.

  • @joevalu Agreed, he should work toward the Tom Waits sound, it's a good quality

  • i know its crazy

  • Im in love.

  • Posting to say how good his Delllounge freestyle's were.

  • Such a fecking awesome song

  • so tight!!!
